Westerville Home Inspection

The Gary and Don were awesome. They expleained every little thing. This was a log home that required some different knoweldge and they knew everything. They provided a lot of suggestions and helpful tips which were beyond the scope of duty. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with any type of service provider. I would encourage anyone in the Columbus area who needs an inspection to seek out the guys at Westerville Home Inspection.

Gary was and his staff worked around our schedule. They were very professional and courteous.         

This was a great experience. I was actually "handed off" to Gary Bix of Westerville Home Inspection Service LLC when a different home inspector I contacted was unable to inspect the property due to potential conflict of interest. (Inspector #1 had recently inspected the home for another customer.) Gary called me to insure that service was still needed and honored pricing quoted by the first inspector, as well as accepting the Angie's List member coupon. After some phone discussion, we established that he'd also coordinate the testing of the water well and septic system, termite and the radon testing. He confirmed the day prior to the inspection that we were still "on" and made arrangements to get access to the house. (I don't know if he contacted the seller's realtor or the central listing service scheduling people. The point is, I didn't have to do a thing! ) I also sent Gary a list of items we were concerned about which the sellers had reportedly already remedied. Gary called late in the day of the inspection to let me know verbally that he'd found no major concerns and that a .pdf file would be emailed shortly with inspection results and a report of possible items to remedy prior to purchase. As promised the report arrived quickly, with pictures, explanations, etc. Gary also made notes specific to the list we had given him, insuring that previous repairs had in fact been completed. Within a few days we had the remainder of our water, septic, radon testing results and in the mail received a very nice binder of all reports, as well as the invoice and a self addressed stamped envelope.

Gary worked with the realtor to access the home. Gary indicated that it would take about 3 hours, and we joined him 2 hours into the inspection. He was able to point out items of concern. I would definitely recommend attending the later part of the inspection so that Gary can show you items of concern. Gary was very timely and responded to our need to have the inspection done quickly. We received the written report within 24 hours via e-mail.

Gary Bix came out to do the inspection for me. He did a very good job. He came out and gave me the evaluation and a suggestion of someone who could come out and do the repair. He wrote me up a written report of what he found. I was very pleased with Gary's service.
