Steve did a wonderful job removing all the old flooring and then putting down the new tile and laminate.  He is very helpful and pretty much a perfectionist.  He really cares what things look like when it  is finished.  He also did a great job of the cleanup each day he was here.

I would highly recommend his services.  The quality is amazing!

Steve did a great job. I have used him trice previously, once for replacing the culture marble walls in my shower, and once to rebuild a wall and repair the drywall in my basement. Steve does quality work and his price is the best around. It actually was cheaper to hire Steve to purchase the vanity tops and install them for me than I could have purchased them myself. You can't go wrong with Steve!

Awesome! Steve's work is meticulous. He shows up on time, works diligently, and keeps you informed as to any problems or issues that he finds. This is the fourth time I have used Steve to do repairs on my property. Steve is as honest as the day is long. I left him alone for several days on this project, and he amazed me at how fast he completed the job. He had to move several appliances, and he reinstalled them as well. I would recommend Steve on any project, he has over 35 years experience and knows his stuff.

I had discovered a bowed wall in my basement and had to remove the drywall and the studs. After hiring K and G Contractors to come in and brace the wall with steel beams, I hired Steve to rebuild the wall. This also included replacing some electrical outlets, and repairing holes in the ceiling (which was also drywall). He also scraped the entire ceiling, repaired miscellaneous spots in the drywall, and repaired the drywall in a closet in a bedroom as well. Steve is meticulous and treats his customer's homes as if it is his own. He goes way above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I gave him a set of keys to my house, and I trust him implicitly. He even penned my dogs up for me when I forgot to put them in the family room before leaving for the day. His price is fabulous. I know for a fact that he put in a lot more time than he charged me for. If you want the work done right the first time at a very fair price you will hire Steve.

Steve wanted to get to work right away. We were without this bathroom until the floor was replaced so a new toilet could be installed. Steve worked hard and efficiently to minimize our inconvenience.

Steve did a great job! He was very knowledgeable and thorough ... he didn't miss a detail. We had originally called a plumber to put in new toilets, and the plumber informed us about the bad sub-floor. This plumber (Jack L Woods Plumbing) said they've worked with Steve in the past - and he does a nice job. I checked-out Steve thru Angie's List - and we decided to have him in install the new floor and cabinet/sink. We even asked him questions about updating another bathroom in our home. We will DEFINITELY call on him again in the future.

Steve did a great job and finished when he said he would. He was on time and cleaned up everything. He had a lot to haul away in doing both bathrooms. I would highly recommend Steve.

For all the projects, he looked at the area to be remodeled, discussed the project with me and within a few days provided an estimate of the cost. He did most of the projects while I was at work. As a very busy person, I found it a relief to know I could trust someone to be at my home and that the work would be done correctly.

I found Steve on Angie's list when I was looking for someone to replace my shower walls. I also went to Heritage Marble to look at their selection (this was before I contacted Steve) and they recommended him. I actually went to Heritage to price the material out, as I was thinking of doing the work myself. Of course, the price to me was much higher, because they primarily sell to contractors, not the general public. Also, I would have had to have them cut the size to my measurements, and then I would have had to purchase all of the extra (glue, caulk, etc.), plus find an extra pair of hands to help me (this stuff is heavy). I had already removed the shower doors and old marble, so Steve's work involved cutting and installing the new marble. When I contacted Steve he came over, took a few rough measurements, and gave me a firm quote. I then went to Heritage to pick out the marble. A few weeks later he called me to tell me the marble was in, and to schedule the installation. On the day of installation (8/15), he showed up at the exact time he sad he would be there. He set his work station up in my driveway, and promptly went to work cutting the marble to the exact size required. He came back the next day (8/16) and removed the braces, caulked the joints, and installed the matching shower caddy. He then gave me some information on what products to use to clean the walls with, and gave me some advice on how to reinstall the shower doors. Steve was punctual, courteous, cleaned up after himself, and the walls look great! I could tell just by looking at Steve's van that he was a real professional. All of his tools were organized, the van was clean inside and out, and it looked like new, even though it was a 2005 model.

The part that Steve Beggs was involved in went like this:Initial Appointment: Timely and Professional; Made some excellent suggestions which we incorporated in our plan.Estimate: Received that same week and found it to be reasonable.Steve referred us to Heritage Marble where I went to pick out the materials.Work was scheduled in a timely fashion and completed as planned. Timely and good communication. He contacted me with questions or to give me status updates.When the tile was finished by New Albany Tile I realized that I need some carpentry work done to complete the job. I called Steve and we talked through the best cost-saving alternative and HE MADE IT HAPPEN :)Highly recommend his work!

Steve arrived promptly, gave an estimate and scheduled a date to begin work. Steve is very detail oriented, problem solved a few unanticipated obstacles and finished the project in the time projected. We have used Steve before and will use him again this spring on another project. He is really a pro.

Excellent. Steve had to do extra bracing in order to get the material to stay in place while the glue dried on the not square, not flat walls. He made an extra trip to our house to remove the bracing. The job looks great.

Steve came in one day and looked at the bathroom, talked about what we wanted and then he measured for the countertop. He ordered the countertop and when it came in, he came out and installed it.. It all was so easy. Stve leaves his jobs very clean and done perfectly.

The full story of this remodel would take pages and pages to fully cover all the work Steve Beggs did for our Mom. She needed a general contractor/remodeler with great attention to detail, who understood the issues of working on an aging house, and with an older client who was not comfortable making decisions. Mom needed someone who could take complete command of every step of the project: drawing plans, design recommendations, city permits, control of any required subcontracting, even taking her to select appliances and countertops. She required someone totally trustworthy who could work independently and communicate constantly since she was not living in the house during the remodel. Steve was all of this, and more. (On several occassions he had to shovel her driveway just to get in--and he shoveled her walks for her too!) Steve's work is of the highest quality. I only wish we had taken 'before' and 'after' pictures so I could post them--the transformation was amazing. Let me reiterate: Steve's work is of the HIGHEST QUALITY! Steve's work is also his passion--and he takes great care of his clients. We recommend him without reserve and look forward to working with him again.

We were given Steve's name by a friend of ours who has used him in the past, and we're glad we gave him a call. As the first step in our kitchen remodel, we asked Steve to remove the dropped ceiling area over the main part of our kitchen and replace the fluorescent lights with can lights.. He gave us estimate of $2200, but when he got into the work, he discovered that some electrical cable, a water pipe and a drain from an upstairs bathroom would have to be relocated in order to meet our specifications. He gave us the option of relocating those item, at an additional cost of $400-$500, or modifying the specifications so that a bulkhead on the ceiling remained over the peninsula counter. We opted for the latter, deciding to put a couple of small pot lights in the bulkhead over the counter. As a result, the whole job cost only $1900, so we saved a few hundred dollars and we love the result. Steve's work, and that of the subs he brought in to do the electrical and drywall, was excellent, they were always on time, and cleaned up after themselves every day and their work was excellent.

Pretty good. The installation / renovation went well and right on schedule. We had one issue with a leak after the job was completed. The issue was with the work of the plumbing sub-contractor the Mr Beggs brought in to do the plumbing work. After sealing / resealing the drain and fixtures in the shower...there were no additional issues.

Great! We used Steve before to close off a room and add a door. His woodwork skills and quality are fantastic! All of the work was done very well and professionally. He was great to work with and his work quality is top notch. This was also true with the subcontractor he used for the ceramic tile installation. Steve and the subcontractor cleaned up after work every day.

The project and the added work went great! Steve was very clear on the time to do the work and met the time frames despite a door which was flawed that he had to return and exchange. The electrical work was also top notch.

Steve did an excellent job. He managed to redo the floor in one day. The base floor was repaired and new linoleum was expertly put in place. He worked well in coordinating with the plumber.

Steve is reliable and committed to doing good quality work. He was flexible and willing to work with our schedule - the job had to be done in two phases, since the vanity we ordered took 7 weeks to get. Steve cleans the area well after each day, and he takes great care in doing good quality work. We are pleased with the results, and would use him again.

Steve was on time and very professional. I don't think anyone could have done a better job.
