The tow truck arrived on time and got the car to the repair shio.

Had several attempts from Goodwill to remove flat tired car from garage with narrow driveway and angled position. Called and explained problem and situation and company said they could come next day with appropriate equipment and navigate car from garage to street so that Goodwill could remove the car from our property. Called before coming, came on time,, thoughtfully determined how to use their special equipment to negotiate the tricky exit and executed plan without flaw. "C.C." was extremely competent, friendly, quick, and got a difficult job done.

They came to tow my car from my house to Acura to get the battery replaced in my car. The first guy that came out to my house did not know how to use the equipment on his truck, did not know how to charge my car, and did not know how to take my car out of gear. They had to send a second guy to get my car out of my garage, but he caused me even more problems. The second guy broke off a piece of my car during the tow while the car was in my drive way. When I asked the employee what this was, he blew me off and said "I don't know?" and left. After I found out about the extent of the damages, I spoke to Mike Wilson from Shamrock Towing and he was disrespectful, and told me that his employee said their were broken car pieces in my driveway when his employee first arrived, and that he believed his employee over me and hung up on me.  This broken piece cost almost 200 dollars to replace.

Amazingly prompt and efficient service.   I usually used Worthington Towing but their phone just rang busy. not good when your wife is stuck on I 270.  After 1 call they were there in less than 20 minutes. they helped her get out of the car and into the cab of the truck along 4 lanes of very busy traffic.  loaded up the car and quickly transported to our designated repair shop.

They showed up quickly and changed the tire.  They put on my spare tire but it needed air and they did not have a pump.

I called the office to complain and they seemed surprised that the service tech did not have an air pump but then said well, not all of the trucks have them.  I asked for at least a partial credit because I then had to drive 1/2 hour to my car and back with an air pump to pump up the tire. 

He refused to give me any discount and said he changed the tire and so his service was completed.  I told him it would have been completed if the tire had been filled with air so that it could be driven.  I would not ever recommend this company.

My car had stalled at an Autozone in Westerville. I called Shamrock because they were closest to my location. The girl that answered the call was very nice and polite. She said they would call when the driver was 15 minutes away. Then I sat for an hour and a half before calling them back. She said they had received several other calls since I called and were behind. She said the truck would be there in 30 minutes. The driver was polite, and followed my directions very nicely. We made it to my house in 30 minutes which is what I would expect it to. It would have just been nice to get a little more communication. If I didn't call, how long would I have had to wait?

I contacted this company because they had been recommended by an auto mechanic shop I had used.  A truck came out within an hour and jump-started the car.  I was given helpful advice about keeping the battery running and what to do if I continue to have this problem with my car.  Both the receptionist and the mechanic who did the work were polite and courteous.  I would call on this company in the future.

Needed a tow late on a Sunday night. The woman who answered was very nice and polite. The driver dropped the car off to an auto shop and filled out all the paperwork for their evening drop box. Very happy with the service.

I was not able to be with the car and they were able to pick it up and deliver it without issues.

Smooth with great care to not harm the vehicle in any way. Driver had experience with the TT.

The driver was very professional and very patient as I pondered whether or not to still have the car towed since he was able to jump start it.  He actually hook it up, unhooked it, and then hooked it up again (as I changed my mind)  and was really pleasant about it!
Also,  I really appreciated the time and helpful hints he gave me toward the hood repair on my other car as I would not have been able to drive it otherwise.

They towed the car while I wasn't looking, to a "Closed" lot, so I couldn't even get my car back until the next day. They made no accommodation, were very rude on the phone, and made a big deal about how much I would "owe" them for their unrequested "service".

It should be of note, there is a LOT of bad press about shamrock outside of Angie's list, because they are dependent on using and abusing large towing contracts, towing people involuntarily. Often breaking rules, laws, and damaging property. If you are trying to hire them directly for a tow, I would highly recommend you look them up elseware first. As well, consider putting your dollars towards a towing company that does offer paid services on one hand, while getting the bulk of their business abusing others on the other hand.

Also, separate from this incident, and not a direct experience, I have noticed they make extra effort to tow involuntarily during holiday gatherings, such as this past Thanksgiving when they sent trucks out to tow cars that parked near the grass because all the spaces were full from visiting families/friends. Though this might fit inside their rule/policy list, I think it's worth noting that a company which profits in this way is just a bad company to do business with.--9**9--

I called in the morning and they showed up within 30 minutes.  Hooked up the car and towed it to Monro. 

Shamrock was here within an hour or so of my call which was very reasonable since they were coming from Westerville and our offices are downtown Columbus. I met them at the security gate to the garage and was surprised to see a smaller tow truck and a huge flat bed truck. They used the smaller tow truck to get in the garage and tow my car up two levels to the exit and out to the street. The flatbed was parked around the corner and my car was quickly and gently winched up on the flatbed. Securing my car to the flatbed took a while, but only because the driver was having some difficulties with tie points on my car (a foreign make) and some of his tie down equipment. He wanted to be absolutely sure that the car was securely and properly locked down for the 40 mile trip to my mechanic in Marysville. The car arrived about an hour later safe and sound! Despite the reputation this firm has around town, especially the OSU campus area, they were very professional and had all the right equipment to do the job correctly. And they even gave me a discount because my employer had a contract with them, an unexpected and much appreciated bonus. A huge thumbs up and thank you to Shamrock and the two guys who handled my tow. Hope I don't need a tow again, but if I do they will be the first I call.

Excellent. Flatbed tow with a newer truck and very nice phone dispatch and service technician.  Responded according to distance and time quote. No wasted time. 

My daughter's car was hit in the front while parked at the high school parking lot.  It damaged a radiator line, but she was able to get the car home.  We made arrangements with the local dealer for repairs to be done there, after speaking with the insurance company.  The dealer said they would send Shamrock to pick up the car.

When the truck arrived, we knew because Shamrock called to tell us the driver was waiting outside.  When I got outside, he was leaning against the bed of his truck.  It looks like it was too much to ask him to walk the few steps to ring our door bell. 

The car was in the garage.  He said it was OK to drive it down the driveway and up to his truck without radiator fluid.  "That won't damage it."  Overall, the impression from the driver was I was inconveniencing HIM!  If you need a tow, call someone else who cares about your business.

The work was done carefully and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Shamrock again. (Although I'm not a big fan of getting my car towed.....)

We had to schedule the appointment during a dry spell so that the tow truck did not create ruts in the lawn. Shamrock was very flexible and responsive to this problem. At an opportune time the tow truck met us at the house and proceeded to rig the sign to the truck. The only problem was that the driver brought a flat bed truck instead of a conventional tow truck with a hook. As he pulled the sign from the ground, the weight of the top of the sign caused it to fall forward onto the flat bed and when it hit all four ends of the sign broke off. With a conventional tow truck the sign would have been pulled straight up and might not have fallen forward. The driver asked if we still wanted to take the sign to our new house and we told him to go ahead and we would access the damage later. A couple of days later I called Shamrock and asked if they had insurance or something that would cover the damage. I realized that this was an unusual job but felt that if they could not handle it they probably should have told me so. Someone came right out and looked at the sign (I think it was the owner). He said he would get right back to me and called in a few days to say he was sending someone out to fix the sign. He sent a heavy duty truck repair truck with a crane. The driver took the sign to his shop to be welded. The sign was returned in about 3 weeks and the driver placed it in the hole and waited while we added concrete around the post. This was a very unusual situation and Shamrock stepped right up and made it right. My gift to my husband for our 30th anniversary now sits proudly in our front yard.
