I am grateful for Kathy Parrish who did my work. She prepared my 2015 taxes to comply with federal IRS regulations (rental property) that I missed by doing them myself, as I was audited. She was professional and timely. We decided that we should also re-do my 2016 taxes because the same omissions were done. On top of advising me properly and completing the forms accurately, the best part is Kathy applied for and I received an IRS waiver for the penalties I owed for 2015 taxes. i will ask her to prepare my 2017 taxes and hopefully avoid any future IRS issues.

It went very well. We went over everything and we both asked a lot of questions. She answered all my questions and made several suggestions as to things I could do - both immediately and long term. I plan to go back later in the year and then have them prepare by 2016 federal and state taxes.

After review of the the letters of explanation of the two co-mingled businesses which Ron and his associates suggested and establishing separate bank accounts, credit cards etc. and submitting copies of hundreds of receipts with details of each item and what the business use was for each the IRS agreed to a NO CHANGE status for the 2012 taxes. In other words they accepted the original submission and did not charge additional taxes, interest or penalties. A better result could not have been obtained.

Ron and his associates, especially Kathy, worked very hard to give the IRS both what they wanted and in a manner that would be easy to understand. They came in on weekends and did all of the copying themselves which was a mighty task!  I have two business and while they are separate they cross paths many times which would make it confusing for the the IRS to understand. The challenge was to explain that without the face to face conference which we had requested several times. 

I truly feel that if I had just responded to the original  request on my own, my results would not have been the same. 

I was very impressed by Ron Lykins Inc. They were very patient and didn't look for the quick fix and the results could not have been better!

I have always used self preparation tax software to prepare tax returns.  Given the increased complexity of our tax situation, we decided to seek professional consultation.  Based on Angie's list reviews, we contact Ron Lykins, Inc.  We had an introductory meeting with Pegi Deeter.  We were immediately comfortable with her understanding of our tax situations and options available to us.  She and her colleagues completed our 2014 returns in a timely manner.  They found the optimal situation for us and our son.  Later this year, they will review our 2013 return for potential amendments as well as review our tax situation at mid year to help avoid tax issues with our 2015 return.
We were extremely satisfied with Pegi and the firm's responsiveness (she responded to email in less that a day), professionalism, and quality of work.  We plan to continue to use their services going forward.

I have been using Ron Lykins CPAs for years. I was thinking of using Turbo Tax this year to save a little money. I decided that at the last minute however, to stay with Ron. They are so thorough and great to work with and I trust them more than myself in these matters. I made the best decision ever to stay. As it turns out, after I filed this year, I was audited by the State of Ohio. Because Ron's team did my taxes, all I had to do was send them a copy of my letter from the State and they took care of all of the rest. I received my tax refund from the State in only 2 weeks after the audit letter. Ron's team saved me time and, more importantly, stress. These guys really care about their clients and stand behind their services. I will continue to use them every year.

Good accurate service.  And they found various ways for us to save on taxes, and showed a good knowledge of tax laws.  Our situation is a little complicated for various reasons, and they were smart about how to deal with it.

Kathy and I meet and reviewed a form that I filled out.   She then prepares my taxes.  It is a simple process.

My mother has Alzheimer?s disease and is in a nursing home.  After my father passed away, I did my mom?s federal and state income taxes.  I used the tax software you see advertised in the paper and on TV and it was pretty easy.  That all changed this year when we sold the house my parents had lived in for 30+ years.  Using the same tax software the amount owed in taxes was $60,000.  I knew I needed help and turned to the pros at Ron Lykins Inc. 

The staff at Ron Lykins Inc. was very friendly and professional.  They patiently answered all my questions and asked the right questions to get additional financial details that I had omitted.  Over the course of the next few days, there were a few emails asking about specific details.  It was clear that they were diligently working on the tax forms.  One email asked to see the family trust document, because they believed it could save a lot of money.   Boy were they right.  The amount owed fell from $60,000 to $2,000.  I was overjoyed.

In summary, I was extremely happy with Ron Lykins Inc.  They have a very knowledgeable, friendly staff that was able to quickly complete my taxes with a huge savings for me.
