Thad was able to set up the inspection on very short notice. He was on time and professional. He did a thorough inspection taking time to show me and explain any concerns and answer my question (even though some of the questions were not related to the items he found).

Home purchased was built in '89, so expected some minor repairs would be needed. Inspector found numerous superficial things needed repaired but missed several bigger issues: expensive chimney repair not caught, faulty tub faucet in upper bath needed replaced; leak from upper bathroom stool into lower level missed; two window screens had quarter-size holes, not noted; damper in fireplace not working correctly, etc. Disappointed in thoroughness of inspection. Have owned 6 homes prior to this one, so knowledgeable about how inspections should be conducted. This was the poorest one I've had up to now. Inspector was prompt and price was reasonable, but quality of inspection was not adequate. Would not recommend this company.

"THE LAST PAGE OF THE REPORT "FIREPLACES/WOOD STOVES" HAS A NOTE THAT I WILL QUOTE, "I DO NOT FEEL I WAS ABLE TO ADEQUATELY INSPECT THE CHIMNEY FLUE BECAUSE IT IS NOT TOTALLY VISIBLE AND WAS DIRTY. I RECOMMEND CONSULTING A QUALIFIED CHIMNEY SWEEP FOR INSPECTION". IN ADDITION, IF THE FAUCET AND TOILET WERE NOT LEAKING AT THE TIME OF THIS INSPECTION, THEN IT WOULD NOT BE NOTED ON THE REPORT BECAUSE THE FAUCET IS TURNED ON AND THE TOILET FLUSHED AT EVERY INSPECTION THAT I PERFORM. AS FOR THE HOLES IN THE SCREENS, THIS IS NORMAL MINOR MAINTENANCE. I RECEIVED NO CALLS FROM THE BUYER CONCERNING THIS INSPECTION."
