Jan arrived as scheduled, explained the process and any possible issues that might arise during the job. Work was completed in 2 days and results were excellent. Paper was removed, walls washed and room cleaned up of old wallpaper She gave us recommendations on the proper preparation of the walls before we paint.

Jan was pleasant, professional and easy to work with.  She cautioned us about potential problems that may happen when stripping the paper.  The job went well and a minimal amount of patch work was required prior to repainting.  I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone needing wallpaper removed.

When I called for an estimate Jan gave me an estimate over the phone after I explained the work I needed done.  I was especially pleased that she was able to do the job 2 business days after I called.  She arrived on time and di the work in about 5 hours.  The job was difficult but she did a great job removing the paper.  When the job was completed she cleaned up and then gave me some really good advice on how to prepare the wall for painting so that it would look the best it could possibly be.  She didn't overlook any tiny details which I greatly appreciated.  I'm sure that the hallway will look wonderful when I complete the job.

I would recommend her work to anyone interested in getting wallpaper stripped for an excellent price.  She beat the other estimates big-time.  She was very friendly and personable.   Hire her and you won't be disappointed.

I contacted Jan (Marilyn's her middle name) by phone to discuss the specifics of the task, that the room was approximately 12' x 12', plaster walls, standard wallpaper, and that I had wallpapered the room years earlier but didn't recall if I had prepared/sized the walls beforehand. Jan said her price would go no higher than $240, and might be less if the paper came off easily.  We agreed on a date and time. She estimated that it would take six hours of work, and explained that she would remove the paper and wash the walls, and that depending on the shape of the walls afterward, I might need to make repairs which she does not do.

Jan arrived on time, carrying all her supplies. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. Per her request, I had moved all the furniture away from the walls, toward the center of the room, and she worked around everything. The only other preparation I had to do was to remove things (pictures, curtains) from the walls ahead of time.

When Jan was done stripping the paper and washing down the walls, she explained how I would need to prepare the walls for painting. She also recommended that I speak to someone at a good paint store to make sure her advice matched theirs. I later went to a good paint store and the person there recommended the same product Jan had talked about--a primer that specifically seals over any paste residue or glossiness or paint flakiness that might remain--to get optimal results.

When Jan left, carrying all paper scraps with her, I went back up to the room. I had originally planned to paint as soon as the paper was removed, but still hadn't chosen a color. My husband didn't want to live with the mess of an unfinished room. But the walls were left so clean by Jan, that I pushed the furniture back into place and we'll live with white walls for a few weeks while I think about color.  Jan did mention to me that our walls turned out to be in remarkably good shape underneath. I'll have very few repairs to do before priming/painting.

Not only am I very happy with Jan's work, I thought Jan did a great job explaining what's covered in wallpaper removal, what isn't, and what I can expect to do afterward.  I won't need Jan's services again since I don't have another room with wallpaper, but I would VERY happily recommend her to a friend who does.

Everything went exactly as she said it would. She said there would likely need to be some drywall repair, which was accurate. She recommended a good drywaller who skimmed the walls. Looks great now.

Marilyn was an enthusiastic worker, however I was concerned about some of her requests:  the television was to be turned on to Channel 10 before I left the house, she needed to use my towels for drop cloths, and she had to use my trash bags for the wallpaper because she had run out of them.  She did an adequate job on the bedroom, hallway, stairs, and entry.  When it came to the half bath, she ran into trouble because the wall hadn't been sized before paper was hung.  Unfortunately. she was in a
hurry to finish, and some of the drywall was removed.  Gouges in the wall were left and many parts of the drywall were soaked and torn.  I had to hire a contractor at some expense to come in and repair the wall.  He had to apply several coats of mud and sand coats after they dried.

Our experience with Jan was great.  She explained everything she was going to do.  The wallpaper in the bathrooms was original to this house which is 35 years old. It had to GO!  Jan did a good job of getting this pesky, hard to remove wallpaper down.  She explained what was needed to prepare the walls for painting. We are looking forward to finishing our project and have nicely updated bathrooms.  Thanks Jan!

I just chose her because I didn't know where to go and they advertise all the time.  I was very pleased with her.  I really didn't check around or made some other calls.  Grass paper is very expensive to be taken off but I thought she was very reasonable for the amount of work she had to do.  She had a good quality and I have no complaints whatsoever.  She was very responsive and very good with punctuality.  She was very nice.

I called and received a callback within hours. She was able to come out in just a few days. Everything was removed as promised. We were able to paint the walls after the suggestions for priming that she gave. She was friendly and knew everything about wallpaper removal and preparing walls for painting etc.

Did quality work. Was very helpful in answering questions. Did request the TV be on while working.

We hired her to fix a bad wallpaper job, and she did a great job of getting it all off. It took us 2 days to get one wall down, and it only took her 5 hours to get 3 walls down!

She was very professional and full of information.

They did everything up front that I would be dealing with. They told me the problems I may run into. They were very honest and did a fantastic job.
