It went fine. One of the mowers works very well. The other one only worked for a little while, but it is very old and is approaching the end of its useful life.

Tried to get a utility cart tire fixed there.  While waiting, I talked to owner about how the Ariens factory service center I used had quit servicing Ariens.  I also told him about an air filter assembly I found in my yard and that I needed to figure out what it was from: car or mower .  He said he could service Ariens products and figure out if the filter belonged on the mower.  I went home and brought back my Ariens mower and the mystery filter.  Work to be performed was a spring tune up:  change the oil, spark plug, and sharpen the blade.  Was given back my tire/wheel unfixed because they could not get the tire to mount on the rim.
A few weeks later, they called to say my mower was shot and not worth fixing.  I went over to the shop but the person there could not tell me anything about my mower.  He did get the owner on the phone.  The owner said he had spent money fixing my mower and wanted to recoup some of that.  I agreed to pay 50% but I first wanted to talk with the person who worked on it.  I went back the next day.  The guy who worked on it was there.  He said after he changed the oil, he was running it and a gasket went out so it was leaking oil badly.  I asked about the mystery filter and he knew nothing about it.  I ended up having to go back to the shop a third time so I could talk with the owner in person.  I wanted my mystery filter back because that was the main  reason I brought in the mower in the first place.  He talked to the mechanic and looked around but could not find the filter.  I told him to call me when he found my filter assembly and I left without my mower.   That was 5 months ago.
So to sum things up: They could not fix my tire, they broke my mower, and they lost my filter.

I had Genoa Lawn and Garden pick up my tractor for repair. The tractor had an obvious electrical issue. Their diagnosis was a bad circuit board. The part is not longer made for this tractor, so they attempted to locate an after market or used circuit board. They had the tractor for about 4 weeks. I went on line and found a used one in about 15 minutes and provided it to the repair shop. I was told this part was no good either. I had the tractor moved to a different repair shop that correctly diagnosed the issue as a burnt wire. The circuit board was not the issue. I ended up paying Genoa Lawn and Garden for an incorrect diagnosis plus the cost of the part I purchased on line.Genoa Lawn and Garden did not attempt to right this wrong. I believe I should have received some compensation for their incorrect diagnosis.

I took my lawn mower to them for a pre-season tune-up. He quoted a price and said it would be about a week and they would call when it was ready. Since it was well before lawn mower season, I wasn't in too big a hurry to get it back. After about two weeks, I called them. It turned out they had trouble finding the oil filter. But again, it was way pre-season.

They completed the tune-up in the time quoted, then called to say the reason it was difficult to start was a gummed-up carburator. They quoted me a price to fix that, and completed the work within another few days. They were pleasant to work with. When they quoted me a price for the spring tune-up, they stated that it did not include parts and supplies, but that those costs were usually minimal. I was a bit surprised at how much the parts and supplies actually ended up costing as it was more than I was expecting based on what they had told me. I feel that the final cost was reasonable although perhaps not the best deal around.

They tuned-up the mower and that included putting the starting cord back in. When I arrived they showed me where my mower was. I told them it was the wrong mower but it was my mower. It looked so good, like a new mower that I did not recognize it. It started the first time I pulled the starting rope.
They were very pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend them.
