This was a really disappointing experience that could have been made better with upfront communication, but unfortunately that didn't happen. We had our hardwood floors sanded and restained. Upon completion, there was stain all over the shoe molding throughout the house. When we contacted Matt to ask why the molding was not taped off prior to sanding, he explained that "everybody knows" that you have to paint or replace the molding after. We were not informed of this during our consultation and were led to believe that this was a complete service. Not to mention that their website of before and after photos do not feature stain all over the molding. I feel that this could have been avoided by taping off the molding before staining, or at the very least, making us aware of this during the consultation process. Super bummed that we now need to hire a contractor to paint or replace our molding.

Bill and crew were exceptional. Bill always returned my phone calls and clearly communicated the process to my wife and I. We were very pleased. When the actual work started, his crew, lead by Carlos, went straight to work. They worked very hard to make our floors look fabulous. In the end, we are very satisfied with the red oak wood and stain. It was a lot of work but well worth it. I'd recommend Fabulous Floors to anyone looking for a refinish or hardwood installation job. From estimate through completion, Bill, Carlos, and the team were professional, punctional, and did a through job. The best part is they brought out beauty we had no idea was in there! Some other estimates were cheaper, but all the items they left out were included with Fabulous Floors (plastic sheeting to minimize dust and refinishing under shoe rails, for example). Any questions or concerns we had were always promptly addressed, and we had plenty of them since this is our first time owning hardwood. We will definitely do business with Fabulous Floors again, and have already recommended them to several neighbors.

I have had work done by Fabulous Floors. They were here last month in February of 2017. It was about $2500 I think. I had them fix the floor and then they did some sanding. They finished the kitchen, dining room and family rooms floor all together, made them all the same. They did a great job. The price was fine. They were here every time they said they would be here.

Took longer than expected...They had van troubles so getting here some days was challenging for them. They tapped into my fuse box and burned out several outlets in my home so I had to pay an electrician to fix the problems they left behind. Not happy. I was promised floor care instructions and they never surfaced. Ever. Never heard from them again.

"the way it usually works is, company is hired , they finish the work and if there are any issues with the job customer brings the issue to the attention of the company immediately,most times before payment. In this case customer was very happy with the results and payment was made at the end of the job. In this instance after roughly 4 months customer gives my company a D review, out of the blue. I never was contacted regarding the care sheet, which I will send now, my mistake, I forgot to send it. But since it is mostly cleaning instructions, would have thought she would have been interested in having it before 4 months had elapsed. All that was required was reminder call text or e-mail . As far as the electrical issues, we tapped in to panel , because the house did not have a dedicated 220 amp circuit, which owner was well aware of, since she had to wake up her son for us to access the panel box. we sanded the job and used all necessary outlets upstairs for vacuums and other tools and all outlets worked fine. If anything wasn't working then our machines would not have power. so I really don't understand this complaint . As far as the van problem, Johns van was under factory recall, since it would just shut down , and did so several times that week, at highway speeds,then could not be started again for up to an hour. But regardless he made it to her job every day and got it done as quickly as possible despite the van challenges. He is a talented and dedicated guy, and we always do what is needed to make sure everything is done right. Had she told me the final day or a few days later of any problems we would absolutely taken steps to make sure they were corrected, but I cant fix a problem I know nothing about, and certainly not now, months after the supposed fact. Angie's list should also put some regulations on situations like these, I am being maligned by a customer who had no intention of seeking a remedy, and now I have to live with a D review, which is ,to me unfair. The other side of a story."

We had a fridge that leaked on our pine floor in the kitchen and decided to get the entire dark wood refinished to a little natural color. Bill was the BEST I've ever worked with and built trust with us immediately. The job was scoped easily and honestly and the work OF COURSE had a hiccup that he handled gracefully and still made it within the time frame expected. I wish I had more work for Bill to do. It's not often I've had a guy I trusted as quickly and delivered as flawlessly as he and his team!

The owner was a pleasure to work with. He called promptly, showed up when he said he would, and started/completed the work as agreed. He also worked with us to help make decisions on color, and was flexible when we made a change. The crew who did the work was knowledgeable, polite and efficient.

Bill from Fabulous Floors was easy to work with. He came and gave us a quote for two different processes.. We went with the easy and quick process. They did a chemical wash to remove old wax and residue. After that was cleaned completely a new brighter finish was applied. We are so happy with the end result. The floor looks like new. Thank you Bill.....

They were INCREDIBLE to work with!! We ended up having the existing hardwood floors removed and replaced with new hardwood floors. The existing wood that was about 15 years old was very thin and would have resulted in having transition strips where the new wood hit the old. Bill offered all solutions from the less expensive to the more expensive. He was so wonderful through the entire thing. We went to Florida while they did the work. Bill sent pictures every day with a quick summary of what they accomplished. The house was back to normal when we returned - except for one thing... The floors looked absolutely incredible!! I couldn't be happier with them Bill is a wonderful businessman who knows the meaning of customer service. His lead man...Dave... Knows wood floors inside out. His approach to this job felt as though this was his house. He was that focused and attentive. I highly recommend Fabulous Floors to anyone who wants an exceptional experience and a beautiful floor!!

Bill was very knowledgeable about hardwood floor refinishing/resurfacing. The floors look great. He was able to schedule the job fairly quickly and finished in a couple of days. Next time I would get other estimates - after the discount, I think the price I paid was just average - not a great deal. But all else being equal, I would hire him again.

Very well in all respects. Bill and his partner were very meticulous from explaining the process, what my manufactured, pre-fiished kitchen and hallway hardwod floor would look like, to achieving the perfect stain color for the flooring. Bill went above and beyond by removing quarter round floor trim and painting it before re-installing. The end result was better than expected.

Bill is extremely professional. He was very prompt in returning text messages and phone calls. He and his crew were prompt with all appointment times. Our job took seven days (of varying lengths) and we were always impressed with everyone's work ethic. They were courteous and communicative. Everyone is very knowlegeable and was very patient with all of our questions. You really cannot go wrong with this company. Our floors are beautiful and we are very happy customers! We would definitely hire this company again.

Bill and his crew did an excellent job. Bill was here at the beginning of the project to get things started and show me the different results you get with or without stain and polyurethane. Once I made the decision about what I wanted the finished product to look like the crew immediately went to work and within 6 hours the floor had been stripped and the first coat of polyurethane had been applied. On the second day the second coat of polyurethane was applied in just a few hours and on day three they did a light sanding and applied the final coat of polyurethane.
The polyurethane I chose was oil based and there is a significant odor but as luck would have it the weather was warm enough to have some windows open which made the worst of the smell dissipate fairly quick. However as with any oil based stain a slight the odor will linger for a few weeks.
I chose not to have a stain applied which made the process a little quicker because the crew didn't have to apply stain wait for it to dry and then start applying the three coats of polyurethane. There is dust from the process and they did take some measure to limit the impact on the whole house but because of the way my home is laid out there was some dust that filtered into my kitchen but it was minimal and I cleaned it up in a very short period of time. The crew does a pretty good job of cleaning after themselves both indoors and out.
The floor looks amazing and I am absolutely delighted with the final results so much so, that I am having them come back early next year to refinish the hardwood floors in two other rooms.

Very personable, fair prices, project scheduling was easy and floors were completed on time. Floors look great. There were a few minor blemishes, but they came and fixed them right away. They also did some extra things like add shoe molding to our kitchen baseboards to match the rest of what they had done( at no charge) and fixed one of our plantation shutters that the dog had broken! We would use them again!

I contacted Bill Needham at Fabulous Floors after seeing their advertisement in a Valpak. We had purchased a home a few months earlier and the floors were in bad shape. We wanted their opinion on whether or not we could take advantage of their floor resurfacing to bring back a shine and remove the scratches or whether we would have to do a complete refinish. Bill returned my phone call promptly and came out to access the situation. After walking through the pro's and con's of resurfacing vs. refinishing, we decided that we would be more satisfied with the results if we did a complete refinish. Bill provided us with a quote on the spot and explained in detail the various steps of the process and the time it would take to complete the job if everything went according to plan. Due to other home improvement projects we had in the works at the time, we delayed the actual refinishing of the floor for several months. Bill checked in with us about once a month to see if we were ready to move forward with the project.
Once we were ready to proceed, Bill came back out for another walk through and for us to decide on the color of stain, confirm dates and explain the time frame associated with each step, and provide the deposit. The flooring that was being refinished was a prefinished product so he reiterated to us that until they got started they wouldn't know exactly how difficult it would be to get the existing finish off.
They arrived on schedule and draped off the access to the adjoining rooms to try and cut down on the amount of dust that was disbursed throughout the house. The sanding took a day and half. We had access to the area up to the point of staining. The day they were staining through the initial top coat, we left the property. Bill kept us informed of the progress and actually called to suggest that we extend the final top coat to the next day to ensure it dried properly. They also had to come back to do some final touch up of the trim since one coat wasn't enough.
Bill and his crew did a fantastic job.
