DR SHOE INSTANT SHOE REPAIR

Did not complete work on time. Polishing was fine, but unable to perform any real shoe repair. Would not return here except to have shoes polished if absolutely necessary.

Very well.  Simple and easy.  Went to the Westerville shoe repair and waited 15 min. just for the guy to show up!  Decided to consult my angieslist referral system.  I AM SO GLAD I DID!  Yakov took care of the problem immediately.  He probably had it done the same day but I waited almost a week to come back.  It was ready and I was happy!  Go to the 72 Dillmont drive near high street in Worthington.  Check here before you go anywhere else.  You won't be sorry.

The shoes look and feel great again! The service provided was great and the shoes were ready when promised. I haven't found a new pair of shoes in this style so glad I could get them repaired to perfect condition. I'm very happy that I found a local, trustworthy business to do the repairs.

For the 2nd time in a row the shoes were not ready when promised (this happened last time I took him shoes). The quality of work is good, but the fact that I had to pre-pay then didn't get the shoes on time, makes me want to look for another shop for next time.

They found us in a bit of a bind and rushed the order. We were amazed at the work and timeliness. The soles they replaced are of a much better quality than what was originally on the shoes. We highly recommend them!

Overall an unpleasant experience. I left a dog collar there for 5 days. When I went to pick it up, one of the straps had been sewn to the wrong place making the collar not function as designed. Initially, I was told that I would have to leave it again. Finally, I just waited until while Doug fixed it and I had to show him where to stitch.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE JOB WAS DONE WHEN PROMISED AND THE WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. PRICE IS SORT OF HIGH, BUT IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE GOTTEN A PAIR OF SHOES RESOLED.

HOWEVER, HE SOLD ME A FLEXIBLE GLUE MADE SPECIALLY TO BE USED ON SHOE SOLES. HE TOLD ME THAT IF I PUT THIS GLUE IN THE CRACKS IN THE SOLES, I COULD GET MORE WEAR OUT OF THE BOOTS. I DID SO, AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL. MR. FRATUS WAS VERY POLITE AND PERSONABLE. I APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY IN TELLING ME STRAIGHT FORWARDLY THAT HE COULD NOT PUT NEW SOLES ON THE HIKING BOOTS AND SUGGESTING AN ALTERNATIVE THAT HOPEFULLY WILL KEEP THEM WEARABLE FOR A WHILE.

NICE JOB. THEY WERE A DAY LATE IN FINISHING THE REPAIR, BUT IT WAS NOT AN INCONVENIENCE.

DOUG FRATUS (THE OWNER) IS A REAL CAN-DO TYPE OF PERSON - HE WILL NOT OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER. THIS EXPERIENCE IS JUST ONE OF MANY THAT I HAVE HAD WORKING WITH DOUG. HE HAS SAVED MY WIFE (AND I) A LOT OF MONEY.
