Another auto repair garage said it needed a head gasket replaced and the quote was $1300. Dandini said he could do it for about $650. I was ecstatic at that price. Once he looked it over he said he saw no sign of a head gasket leak and thought it may just need a new radiator cap. He made the fixes which actually were less than $100 and it hasnt leaked since. Speaks volumes to his integrity and finding car repair service you can trust is immeasurable.

Dandini's (Danny Rector) is the best VW mechanic in central ohio.  He is ASE accredited and has years of experience in large dealership garages.  I am so grateful that this Vietnam War veteran decided to hang a Shield and do business on his own. Danny is of retirement age and I do not know what we will do when he decides to hang it up. Never overcharged and never did anything unnecessary in the course of taking care of my wife's VW Beetle.  Previously we dealt with the dealer we purchased the car from, Midwestern Auto Group,  their parts prices and labor fees were exorbitant and if something needed a simple fix they always required you to replace a whole unit unnecessarily.  Dandini's just fixes it if it needs fixed and he fixes it right. Since early 2010 Dandini's is where we take our VW.

It was easy to get the car in. The work was done quickly and we've never had to take it back because it wasn't fixed right the first time.

I've used him several times. He's awesome. He knows what he is doing and he is quick. He charges fairly. He gets me in and out as quick as he can.

They are really good and fast. They know what they are doing, and they are reliable.

I called and got an estimate of $250 plus tax for brakes and rotors. My appointment was at 9am, and Dan was waiting for me at the door. He brought my car in, got it up on the lift, and looked to make sure that it needed brakes and rotors, and not just an adjustment. He called me at 11am to let me know that my car was ready to be picked up, and gave me the total of $266 (which was the 250 plus tax that he quoted me). Dandini's is awesome! Dan is honest, knowledgeable, and fast. I would recommend this place to anyone with a VW, and definitely will be contacting them whenever I need work done in the future.
