They did a great job! Some of the work took awhile to start, and weather caused additional delays, but the end result is fantastic. Mark is a class-act...very humble and understated. He paid attention to every detail, which sometimes caused delays. In retrospect, we are very thankful that he took the time to make sure the job was planned and executed properly. We received other quotes and the price was comparable, but the plan generally included prefabricated pavilions. Ciminello's provided a custom built structure that is designed to match perfectly with the pre-existing exterior of our home. We have a large, but exposed, corner lot, so we also had Ciminellos design and install trees around the outside of the property. Again, the end result was perfect. Instead of a dull straight (or zig zag) line of evergreens, Mark and team came up with a plan that incorporates a mix of different tree types that provide an effective sight barrier and look great....yes, most are still evergreens, but the other trees really set our yard apart. Importantly, throughout the job, Mark consistently demonstrated honesty and integrity unlike most contractors I've dealt with ( even the good ones!). I never had to question a word he said, even when the word a large dollar sign next to it. We'd definitely use Ciminello's again.

If you are looking for a garden center, this is the place to go! We had received a gift card a while back, and finally started cleaning up the front yard for spring! We dug out the mulch beds and started from scratch. We met with a designer on staff, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!! Every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Prices were competitive and the place was beautiful. They even had a BBQ going on while shopping. Great experience. Will be returning here for any further landscaping or gardening needs!

We used Ciminmello's when we first buil the house to provide some front landscaping. They did a great job and thats why we called them back. We needed som addtional trees and pines planted down one side of the property line to provide privacy from the neighbors. They beat the prices of other companies including installation. Scheduling took a while but they arrived on the day they said they would. The installation lead discussed planting locations with me and marked them as we went. The tree's were in good shape when they arrived and planting of 10 pines and 3 trees went quickly but carefully. The crew staked all of them and mulched the bases.
We did have some issues about a month after the plantings. One of the trees started to lean since the stake used to hold it up as not sufficient and my efforts to restake it did not work. Also, one of the pines became stressed and was losing all of its lower branches. I called and left a message for the landscape serivce and within two days they came out and fixed both issues. We are very happy with the product and I will be using them again soon to add additional landscaping to my yard.

I had contacted several other landscape companies who either didn't return calls, didn't follow through, or prices were very high for a very dull plan. Andy from Ciminello's returned calls right away, showed up on time, gave us some good suggestions and delivered a plan that exceeded our expectations both in design and price.
When the crew showed up, each worked together like a great team and got the job done in 3 days. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is wonderful. They were very careful to do minimal damage to the rest of the lawn and no heavy equipment was every brought into the yard which I really appreciated.
We are very happy with the end result and would recommend Ciminello's to anyone who needs landscaping or stone work done. We have seen jobs they did on other sites and it is equally impressive.

I have purchased items often from them and have had no problems. They are a little expensive and are not as big as Oakland or Straders. This means that they have less selection than the bigger companies; but they are very helpful which is what I need!

Andy came out for our first visit to see the property and learn what we wanted out of the landscaping. We explained we needed an evergreen barrier to help hide our neighbors and give us some privacy. We showed him the area we wanted landscaped and where we wanted the creek bed. With that information he created an amazing landscape plan for our yard. We met briefly a few times after that to finalize some changes and went ahead and scheduled the installation. Andy and the crew arrived ahead of schedule to begin marking where the plants and beds would go. Everybody knew exactly what they were doing and didn't require any instruction from us (which we loved!) and never left behind a mess. Andy came by to make sure everything was done to our liking before the crew left. We are VERY satisfied with the plant quality and work they performed and will use them again.

They were excellent. I would rate them high overall. Their price is as same as others. They do come back and do what they are supposed to do and that's the most important thing to me because they show up as they promise.

Overall, they are an honest company with a talented, hardworking staff.

One of the main drivers of my decision was price and Ciminello's was significantly less than other quotes I received. Compared to the $30K quote from Ciminellos, two other companies submitted bids in the $50K range. The crew was great, very professional, punctual and did top notch work. They also incorporated any changes I made along the way, being very polite and accommodating. The finished product is exceptional. Everyone comments on it. I have already referrred three friends to them, one has almost completed a large $30K job with Ciminellos and the other two are considering using them. Keep in mind that all large projects have issues, including weather related delays, but the team at Ciminellos stood be their work, fixed or redid anything I wasn't satisfied with (which was rare). I highly recoommend them to anyone considering this type of project.

I thought the tree I purchased was not the tree they planted, although I was incorrect. They didn't even knock at the door when they came. They were very quiet, and we only noticed the tree was there when we woke up. I was expecting a tree full of colors, reds, maroons, oranges, yellows - hardly any green. We tagged a tree at the nursery and even took a picture of it. They told me the tree they planted is green, but it would bloom with color later on. A year later the tree never changed the colors that they had promised. I am still upset with the way this transaction turned out. It was expensive, and I did not get the tree that I had paid for.

We have never had any problems with them. They do good work.

They understood what I wanted to do. They were very clear on what my goals and expectations were. Their price was very competitive and all their work is guaranteed which is also a plus. My overall experience was outstanding.

It went very well. We were very pleased. They reviewed the design with us and then started the project. They finished it in a timely manner. They were very neat. We would use them again in the future.

A few days after visiting Ciminello's and talking to Doris she called and told us she had made a sketch of the area we wanted to change which showed a fence, arbor and plants she was recommending. We liked what she had and asked her if she would be willing to come and look at our backyard and discuss her sketch. She came after work the same day. A few days later we went back to Ciminello's to pick out plants/shrubs/trees. She spent a good amount of time with us to help us pick out plants without making us feel rushed. As we wanted to get the fence and arbor installed (hadn't yet signed a contact to have it installed) before the plants arrived, they held on to the plants for us for almost 3 weeks. We decided to plant them ourselves to save some money. They arrived in great shape and have been planted and look great with our new fence and arbor.

Many calls to builder and contractor needed for response. Three repairs have resulted in only a partial fix; water still collects but drains over day. Patio wall had large holes drilled during third fix; nobody home to object. Third, back mulch bed holds water (car-sized pond for days after rain, swampy). We expressed drainage concerns during planning but were told not to worry. Again, many calls and builder s assistance needed to get contractor to respond. Five repairs so far and problem is only partially corrected. Bed and retention area still damp all the time. Crews always do something slightly different that discussed (cheaper). Complaints during work not possible as nobody spoke English. Each time many calls and weeks before next "repair". Crews seemed hurried and work was poorly done.
