Description of Work: I really regret moving from my prior apartment complex. I do not want to have to move when my lease is up, but this experience has been so awful, I am sadly considering it. Examples of issues: *When I moved in the paint job was terrible. There are drywall patches all over / covering the walls. It should have been properly done before I moved in. *When I moved in the bath tub was disgustingly filthy. *There was a large hole in the wall by the light fixtures. I did request that this be fixed, but maintenance just wrote "hole in wall is noted". *The baseboard in the bathroom was unglued. I have not touched this and now is unglued again. Also, the refrigerator door was not attached, and the bar across the blinds was unattached. *There are several little patches all over the walls that weren't properly patched to begin with and are now cracking along the edges. *Several packages stolen from doorstep. Had packages sent to the leasing office instead and it had already been OPENED (sliced through) and re-taped over when I came to pick it up. The tape did not even shut the box and I could see into it! Currently unaccounted for packages delivered to the leasing office address and contacting UPS to see if I can get them or need to contact the police again. *Cigarette butts littering the ground and stairs leading up to my apartment... This looks trashy and it is generally not safe. *My mom almost broke her ankle on a loose and unstable stair when moving in. *No security cameras outside. *Mail not delivered to a nearly empty mailbox. I had transcripts that I needed to rush request as I was interviewing for a life changing job at Google and I had to pay twice as it wasn't delivered to my mailbox. Unnecessary money lost, and it also took way too long to get Google my transcripts at a critical time. When I called the post office to ask why they weren't delivering my mail when there was plenty of space in the mailbox, I was told to write my name on the inside of the mailbox and the carrier may not know. I've had zero issues or package delivery to my door or the office at my prior complex, and I have never once been asked or heard of doing anything like this. I feel I should have been notified in advance that I needed to write my name in order to have mail properly delivered. This significantly impacted my life, aside from just money. This is by far and above the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. In fact, my prior complex was about 1,000 times better than this place and this is my first negative experience with any apartment. I moved into a perfect apartment with everything in order, maintenance fixed everything, no one stole from me, I could trust the leasing office with my packages (100% of the time). I do not feel safe here as there are no cameras outside, and I can't trust having packages delivered to either my door or the office.
