Celeste is hard-working, communicates well, and is a very nice, professional person to work with. We have used Celestial Designs for four projects in our home now. We first contracted her for a master bathroom in our house. She suggested and applied a unique, textured paint process called Shimmer Stone which we did in a dark color to contrast the white woodwork and bright natural light that streams into the room. It came out spectacular, and is quite unique with a very upscale feel.
We next contacted her for our large foyer entryway with 25 foot ceilings and the connecting stairway and connected hallways. We chose another custom painting effect on part of the walls, and a white ceiling repaint to refresh the feel of the 10 year old house. She repainted all of the crown molding and caulked any gaps in the ceiling seams, and it came out amazingly nice. What a difference it made in our house! She was largely responsible for our color choice, and has a great eye for decorating and ideas from her experience with large custom homes, and her work for years on the Parade of Homes builders circuit. Her work was flawless and efficient. Celeste works hard, and sets up her own scaffolding system for high projects.
Our last project was inspired by our visit to some of the newest designs in the recent Parade of Homes. We saw a large bedroom with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful chandelier, and took some pictures of this as a model for the effect that we were after. We met with Celeste, and she suggested the colors and effects that she envisioned for the room to flow with the rest of the house. She did an absolutely amazing job and we love the new bedroom! We made a few color adjustments once the project was underway, and she was very receptive to the changes. She prepared sample boards to show what her work would look like applied to the room. This was a five day project, and Celeste tediously painted some effects with several layers of stenciling that was very time consuming (14 hours or so) to reach our desired results. The ceiling was done with several layers of metallic sponge painting to give it a very interesting design that absolutely makes the chandelier a centerpiece.
We would highly suggest Celestial Designs for unique design projects and custom painting jobs. We plan to use again in the coming years.
