At first it was great then Phil and his crew started to slack after 30 days bc they had other projects coming up. They started to rush. Things left undone that I asked to be fixed. Painting job was bad. As a female, felt like I was being talked down to often as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. Regardless, respect the paying customer. Asked for work that was left unfinished to get completed, and I was told it would cost me more money than originally agreed upon. This was from Phil’s secretary. Went from buddy buddy here’s my cell phone contact anytime to impersonal secretary leaving message bc Phil cannot even call you back to fix what you agreed upon. Disappointing. Won’t use again.

After extensive troubleshooting, it came down to a circuit board in the garage door opener head. Phil gave me the number of circuit board. He suggested a supplyer. Fixed. Phil did more than we expected, with great results. We plan on calling on Phil in the near future. Thanks

Phil and his crew did an awesome job!! Replaced all of the interior doors, and kept the trim where they could. Fixed some various issues with our siding as well as bathroom exhaust fans. They were very professional and did an awesome job both in the work and cleaning up when they were done! I would definitely hire them again!

From turning a 80's era drop ceiling to a higher drywall ceiling, to installing hardwood flooring in a previously unexposed area and all the steps in between Phil consistently showed integrity and quality craftsmanship. In addition, he has a few young apprentices that he coaches along. It was delightful to see how he interacted with them to grow their abilities. Our kitchen is now the pride of our home and looks amazing!

They were less expensive than other estimates that we had. I was remodeling our bathroom and I had put in this sink myself and he was giving me tips on how to do that so that was nice of him. He was professional. He explained the step by step was he was going to do.

Went very well.  Took a little longer than anticipated, but work was well done.  Phil has done other work for us since, but this was the biggest job.

We are very pleased with the work Phil did for us. He is friendly and diligent in his work. We had a few project that we wanted to do, but a budget that wouldn't cover all of them. Phil gave us prices for each and we picked three that fit in our price limit. He was able to start soon after we made our selections. He also made a few suggestions based on his experience, and showed me how to do one of my other (simpler) projects myself. I look forward to calling on Castle Home Improvement in the future.

They had to repaint a little bit because they didn't sand everything. It had to be resanded and painted. Otherwise it went very well. They came back and took care of the sanding and painting that needed to be touched up.

My husband and I were remodeling a small bathroom. Because we weren't comfortable installing a new toilet, we got a few estimates from several handyman about taking care of it all, which included laying a new floor, installing a new toilet and possibly installing a new vanity. Castle Home Improvement gave us the lowest bid and was available the quickest. I spoke with Phil Knight by phone and found him very professional, thorough and friendly. He gave me a heads up he was on his way, showed up on time and made sure I understood the contract and how the company operated, which I appreciated. Though he said he needed to leave at a certain time, he ended up staying late when an unexpected problem came up. He also gave me some helpful tips about how to finish the vanity ourselves, which we opted to do in the end. I would definitely use him again.

Phil was very accommodating with scheduling work days even with approaching insulation work. When we were planning everything out he provided a lot of insight on the best locations for lighting and fans as well as encouraging our input. He made sure to keep an organized and clean work area as the installations were done. He invited our questions as he performed work and explained what he was doing as the work was completed so that we knew what was going on. We were thrilled with the quality of work and his attention to detail and professionalism is easily seen in the finished product. Castle Home Improvement and Phil will be our go to company the next time we need work done.

Everything went well. Phil not only will help with a remodel, handyman repair; Phil will also teach you a repair.
