The carpet was purchased by my mother for her condominium.  Like I said above the carper was installed my the owners son.  The above date is approximate.  Right after the install I wasn't happy with the way Jim's son pounded down all the aluminum carpet transition strips.  He beat them so they were all dented (more on that later).  Soon after the install the carpet began to wrinkle which was because it wasn't stretched properly.  Jim came over and was really mad at how badly his son did with our install.  I can't remember if I or my mom told Jim that I used to work in his industry, but an injury sidelined me.  The reason I mention that in the review is Jim said the aluminum transition strips never come out smooth because you have to pound them down on the carpet.  WHAT!?!  From him saying that I questioned his own ability.  I want anyone reading this to go look at their own transition strips.  They are never dented by the installer!!!    Jim said he would redo the carpet, but WE HAD A HUGE PROBLEM.  My mom was stage IV cancer at the time and Jim wife had just gone through the same thing.  He was really sentimental at the huge undertaking to have to totally remove two floors of furniture and said he had no problem waiting.   My mom's cancer got better, but then she had a relaps.  It was maybe 4 years till I went back to see Jim and asked if he could redo the carpet while my mom was visiting relatives for a week.  Jim looked at me like he had never seen me before.  I reminded him of his son's lousy install, how he even remarked at how bad it was and that we were waiting due to my mom dealing with the same cancer that his wife dealt with.  He then raised his voice and it's it's been many years.  The time laps had noting to do with his bad install!!
When I finally pay someone to fix her carpet I will be sending Jim at Carpet Cove the bill!!!
I would not do business with this type of person!!!

Once the carpet arrived, the installers were punctual, cheerful and professional. They helped us move two pieces of huge furniture that we could not manage. They carpeted the bedroom wing on the first day and the living areas on the second day. A month later they installed the laminate in the bathrooms. After about six months we contacted the company about the very noticeable carpet seams. The owner came to the house armed with manicure scissors. He cut off the top of the carpet loop and fluffed the seams with his fingers. He also suggested we vacuum the length of the seam rather than across it. That is very difficult to do in a doorway! It has now been two years and we are very disappointed. Every seam is visible and the bathroom floors squeak. We do not recommend this company.

Jim's son and another helper arrived on time and completed the job in half a day. They were professional. When we left a message about the stair corner Jim called the next day (Saturday) and came and fixed the job. We are satisfied and will use Carpet Cove again to do our basement.

I like the fact that the man you buy the carpet from installs the carpet. We had an older cat (she has passed) that left a urine smell in the old carpet. Jim sealed the floor under the carpet so that smell would not return at no extra charge. The work was very professional and done in one day. They show up on time and work quickly. They move furniture and use the best padding at no extra charge. I highly recommend them! One word of advise - Jim orders the carpet without much waste. If you want any extra for future repairs let them know ahead of time.

A hole had worn in the carpet on the edge of a stair over years of use. We had a remnant of the original carpet. Jim came out to give an estimate. He asked to see the remnant then offered to do the job on the spot for $100. He was done within one hour and did a great job. He included padding in the job. He was totally professional and did excellent work.

Jim was very nice from the beginning, giving us lots of info. After the estimate he was very patient with all of our questions while we waited for other estimates to come in. He got the flooring from the warehouse when he said he would and was at our house promptly on the day he said he would be. He was extremely efficient and done with his work in two days, as he said he would be. He cleaned up after himself, and was so professional. He laid the old carpet in other rooms with older carpet, other stores wouldn't do that for us. Now we also have beautiful (wood) laminate flooring in most of the house, it looks so nice!!

It wasn't something they normally offer, so they were quite flexible. They were good at responding. They did the work very well. They saved us a lot of money.

After finding a couple of places where the corners and ends of the boards were separating, we called Carpet Cove to have it fixed. Jim came out and looked at the spots as well as the rest of the floor. He said he would contact the manufacturer to see if they had problems with this flooring. He came back and replaced the boards that were bad as well as some he didn't like the looks of and inspected the whole floor again as he was reinstalling it. There was no charge for this. We have been very happy with the floor and with Carpet Cove service.

They did exactly as they promised completing the job in less than two days. It looks great. The carpet is a loop style and some of the seams looked odd. Jim came right out and fixed them. We are highly satisfied.

Jim was very patient with us. We had a difficult time selecting the perfect carpet and had changed our mind after ordering carpet. He and his wife were wonderful to work with, and installation was done well. He arrived when promised.

Mr. Rodgers was pleasant to deal with, start to finish. He scheduled appointment quickly and was very prompt. His work was very good quality and the carpet install looks very good. A good choice for our smaller install job. When we need new carpet, we will certainly give Carpet Cove a call!

Very good experience. I compared this store with several of the other stores listed on Angie's list which had a large number of reports, and Carpet Cove's prices seemed less expensive overall. I also appreciated the fact that their price included everything. Some stores quote you a price, then charge extra to move the furniture and extra again to take the old carpet away. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. I have a lot more carpeting to buy in the future, and I won't bother shopping anywhere else the next time.

I HAVE BEEN CALLING THIS COMPANY FOR TWO YEARS ABOUT A PROBLEM I HAD WITH CARPET THEY INSTALLED. IT HAS CONTINUALLY UNRAVELED, AND THEY HAVE BEEN VERBALLY RESPONSIVE TO MY CONCERNS BUT HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. FINALLY, THEY CAME OUT HERE AND FIXED IT, BUT ONLY AFTER I ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY WENT TO THE STORE. VERY POLITE, JUST NO FOLLOW THROUGH.
