Description of Work: They fixed a recurring leak no one else had successfully been able to fix.

Description of Work: We called B&T roofing due to a slow water leak into our kitchen ceiling. Robert from B&T arrived on time the next day. After seeing the kitchen he initially checked the roof to see if there were any obvious problems. Not seeing any, he entered our tight attic (vaulted ceiling) and found the wet drywall and the wet roof sheeting above it. However, when he went back on the roof there were no obvious problems in that spot. He suspected that incorrectly trimmed shingles in a closeby roof valley might be the culprits. He trimmed the shingles and applied some caulking. He said we'd have to wait and see if this minor repair stopped the leak. If not, he recommended that the roof valley may need to be redone. I asked what I could give him for the initial repair, but he wouldn't take any payment because he said he wasn't sure if it was going to solve our problem. Well after 2 months and much rain/snow, we haven't had a leak. I greatly appreciate his honest service and would gladly call him back if we needed roof work done in the future (and I'd be willing to pay!).

Description of Work: This may sound unusual, but we're taking time to compliment B&T even though we didn't wind up using them. We were down to two very credible proposals; and simply because of the brand of roofing we selected, the competitor happened to have a somewhat better warranty.Todd at B&T visited our home at least twice, presented us with shingle sample boards and gave us an extensive list of other house addresses that had shingles in which we were interested. He was very knowledgeable.He was very attentive and professional, and it was not an easy decision using the other firm.And even when we explained the decision, he was very gracious.Will recommend B&T to others.

Description of Work: repaired holes in the roof and replaced damaged fascia boards. they were very professional and timely in their work. they cleaned up 98% of their work, they did leave a few pieces of wood and some gutter netting on the ground. I will use them again. they were 400.00 less than the other estimate I received and the quotes were for the same degree of repairs.

Description of Work: We did a fair amount of research on roofs and companies and chose B&T as they appeared to be a quality focused company although not the lowest bid. Overall, did a good job and we are generally happy, but a coupe things soured the experience - did start about 2 months late. We expected mid -august and they didn't call and start until October. - Matt sales guy assured us he would be on the job each day. He wasn't, and perhaps the reason for the items below - installed 2 roof vents for bathroom fans, but installed one on the front side of house. seems like every other house I've seen install these on the back facing side of roof. Takes away from the front view of the house, but too late as it was already done when I noticed. - we also had insulation blown into the attic. We had a couple things in the attic, and I probably should have removed these first, but . . .. I asked the guys when I got home what happned to these items and was told they probably just blew the insulation in over them. So, good luck to me finding these items under 18 inches of insulation now. Really, just blew i right over them ???? Like I said, overall we are happy with the job and price, but lost the A rating based on the above

Description of Work: Had leak from roof vent pipe. They fixed them and then put cap like things on them to prevent water from coming in there again. Haven't noticed any more leaking since then.

Description of Work: Bio on Angies List says that they provide free estimates. Actually, they charge $175 if your house happens to be for sale, like that should make a difference. Either change the bio on Angies List or make the vendor give free estimates...

Description of Work: Robert Bills came to inspect the roof at the chimney where we had a leak. He determined that there was some loose roofing and nailed it in place and sealed the area. We had another storm last night but had no leaks. Robert was extremely curteous and efficient. He gave me his card and said if this did not stop the leak to call and he would return.

Description of Work: At first the sales person seemed very upfront, professional and detailed, however, his follow through was horrible. Was told originally that it would take about 2 weeks to get on the schedule and never heard back from the sales person or the company. We had to contact them to find out details and when we heard back it was very vague. I will admit that we changed a few things and our bank was very specific on some details that needed to be followed, however, we were told upfront that BT would assist us with working with our insurance and bank but it never really happened. The receptionist and sales person that we dealt with were very argumentive and unprofessional when asked about the status of our schedule (it seemed as if they forgot about us) although they had our down payment for over a month. I will say that the work crew was very prompt and completed their work as expected. I am not unrealistic in my expectations but I don't like being over promised and under delivered by a company especially when there is significant money being exchanged. I would recommend that you use caution when dealing with their sales people and front office and because of this I would not recommend BT. They are related, brothers I believe, to Muth Roofing who we also had prepare a quote and if I had to do it all over again would have used them instead. The sales person was much more prompt, professional and had better follow up.

Description of Work: This company WAS NOT flexible with scheduling a time for an estimate. I was told the estimate could only occur between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Everyone I have dealt with on Angie's List have been great! ALL of the companies I've met with were flexible with their estimate times.
