Matt Komp was my go to person at B&T Roofing Co. He did an excellent job of explaining the steps and process of going through my insurance company and what to expecct. He kept in contact with me and went over samples and colors that will enhance my current house color. Being that I work at night, we came up with a suitable time to start and finish the job. The guys were wonderful at cleaning up and keeping the job site presentable to my neighbors. Thanks

Despite discussing the details upfront with Robert (salesperson). metal strip used was too narrow, it did not reach all the way to the roofline which defeats the purpose of the whole jobd. I found out by accident while cleaning the gutters. They came back an guaranteed me it was fixed but in reality they fixed the area with easier access only, leaving the remaing 70% of the roof perimeter incomplete. Salesperson was confused, and unproffessional. I will never use them again.

We called B &T roofing after a storm took some of our shingles. We were very pleased with their service from start to finish and would recommend them to others.

I contacted 3 companies that were to all arrive on the same day at various times in order to give me an estimate on getting the gutters repaired as well as seeing if there was any work that needed done on the roof of my house as well. All the companies offer free estimates and said that I did not have to be home in order for them to do the estimate. I arranged for the back gate of my yard to be unlocked to allow access to the rear of the house for gutter inspection and to be able to get to all areas of the roof for inspection. I woke up on the morning of the inspections and heard someone walking up on the roof and seen a truck parked in front of my house in addition to a ladder being up on the front of the house. After several minutes I heard the walking go towards the ladder, the ladder came down and they placed it back on the truck and left. I do not know who this company was (more on that later) I had to get ready for work and upon leaving was still waiting on word from the 2 other companies about their estimates. I got a phone call from one of the other companies (was not B&T roofing that called) and stated they would be out in around 20 minutes, I explained I was not home and they said that would be fine, they could still provide the estimate. I returned home from work later that evening after my wife was already home from work and asked her if she had heard anyone on the roof or gotten any paperwork either in the mailbox or stuck in the door and she stated no. I received an e-mail from one of the other companies (again, nothing from B&T roofing) providing their estimate. To date, it has been roughly 3 weeks since the estimate and I have still never heard from B&T roofing, nor do I have any idea if they even came out and checked out the issues I was requesting estimates on. The company that was on the roof when I got up never made any sort of impression of who they were and never got back with me. I also have no idea if the company that I never heard back from, which could have been B&T even showed up at my house. The company is highly rated on Angie's List which is why I chose them for an estimate, but since I never heard back from them to even know if they came out to my house I have no desire to use B&T roofing, nor will I look to them in the future for any estimates. Just as a note of reference, in case they never showed up due to the fact that I was looking for minor gutter work, I'd like to state that the company that I chose ended up getting a full roofing job as well as replacing the siding on the house due to hail damage and winds. So, this could have been a nice job for whoever decided to get back with me and provide an estimate.

Wonderful experience! Our sales person, Matt, was professional and personable. He didn't rush us to pick a shingle color and instead of overwhelming us with samples, he gave us a list of houses in our neighborhood for us to actually see what the colors look like on a building. The installation was smooth, the workers were polite, careful and very tidy. Todd, the project manager, made sure everything was done to our liking. We will be calling Matt and B&T when we are ready for new gutters and siding! Highly recommended!

The shingles were damaged in the windstorm on June 29th and all of the shingles had to be replaced. B&T Roofing proved the most detailed and complete estimate, which included items not in other estimates received. All work was completed in two days. The workmen were very good at keeping the debris and packing materials contained. Work was completed as estimated and everything was cleaned up when they left.

Great experience! On time, professional, good work, quality materials...hopefully our gas bill this winter will more than offset the costs!

I asked 2 roofing companies from Angie's List to give me an estimate to replace my broken attic fan. B&T Roofing was the 2nd company that came out to my house. Their technician, Robert, inspected my roof and saw that I have ridge and soffit vents. He climbed up to my attic to make sure they were unblocked. Based on this finding, he recommended NOT to replace the fan but instead remove it and close the hole with plywood. He explained that the ridge/soffit vents should provide the proper ventilation for my roof and that having the fan there actually hinders it. I was skeptical because the first roofing company that came out never mentioned this to me. So Robert took out some technical manual illustrating what he told me. He also recommended my 2 gables be covered and that my 2 bathroom vents which ?ended? in the attic be vented to the outside to prevent moisture build-up in the attic. Still unsure about the attic fan, I did some research on my own. I looked it up on the internet and I asked a friend who?s a contractor and my neighbor who?s an architect. Sure enough, B&T was right, you?re not supposed to mix and match different types of roof ventilation. Either have the attic fan or ridge/soffit vents, not both. Having both will only impede each other?s performance. Based on their expert advice, I had B&T do the work. They scheduled the job and even worked around my schedule. Two guys came out and did an outstanding job (one even helped me replace a bulb in my bathroom). I would definitely hire them again.

The job was done very professionally from start to finish. Matt did a great job of estimating and follow through, Valetine was a very good foreman and his crew was excellent. The job took 3.5 days and they were here everyday at 7 am. and left at 8pm. Their attention to detail was very good and any issues we had at the time were quickly resolved. It was a tough job due to the heat and complexity of the roof, but the result was excellent. I would definitely hire them again.

B&T just did a super job. They came out quickly to provide an estimate. Their workers were kind and respectful. They cleaned up after themselves. They did the job quickly and efficiently. I couldn't have been more impressed with everything. One of the best contracting experiences I've ever had.

Overall, I was very happy with the service I received from B & T. They came out promptly, were very professional, and cleaned up very well.

Quick, on time estimate that was less than other companies. Upfront about possible hidden rafter damage, which turned out to be present after roof opened (over a cathedral ceiling). Scabbed in 4 rafters with 2X4's (added $175 to estimate of $460), then replaced OSB roof decking and felt and shingles. Arrived on time, finished in a few hours, cleaned up well. Very happy with entire process.

The tech arrived, very nice guy, and went up into the attic to assess the situation. He took PHOTOS of everything up there to show me what was going on! The roof was fine, but the exhaust pipe apparently had some water inside it, maybe from a windy rainy day, which traveled down the inside of the pipe to the "L" and leaked out, dripping onto the attic floor, and thru the can light. So this was NO problem of B&T's, but he suggested I put an aluminum pan under the "L" to catch any future precipitation and, since I happened to have an aluminum turkey roaster pan, he offered to go back up and place it where it needs to go. AND he took more pictures to show me where he put it. Anyway, B&T could have easily said "It ain't our prob" but they didn't, and that's what excellent service is all about.

B&T roofing was very easy to work with and I took advantage of the Angie's List coupon! They were able to do the work the day after I called and showed up on time. Brandon quickly replaced the nails and resealed the shingles, easy as that!

They were honest, did good work, and came back quickly and for free when I explained that they missed a spot or two.

I had made appointments with two different companies to have the problem looked at. (There were two very small, brown wet spots on the bathroom ceiling between the skylight and the wall.) The first company that came immediately jumped on the idea that the skylight had to be replaced because it was causing the two leaks. Even after his going onto the roof and looking around, he stuck to this diagnosis. Later that same day, the second company (B&T Roofing) came and with no coaching from me, looked at the two brown spots from inside the bathroom. Their roofer said, "Most people would suspect the skylight as the problem, but I don't think it is causing these two spots. Let me go up on the roof and see what's going on." When he came down, he had found two nails that were popped-up and rusted. He had replaced them and sealed their entry and thought that would fix the two wet, brown spots. He also thought the skylight might need some attention but was not the cause of these spots. He gave me an estimate for replacing the skylight in case I wanted to do that and it was exactly the same as the other company. A month later, the two brown spots were still perfectly dry but I decided to replace the skylight because water was getting in between the two layers of it and I figured it made more sense to replace a 16-year-old plastic skylight than to try repairing it. They did a great job and I used B&T Roofing because I appreciated the honesty in their assessment of the problem!

Great, Robert came out to check the initial issues I had. He walked the roof and pointed out a few other things to have done. After a couple days he submitted the quote, it was reasonable so we went forward...his guys came out later that week and knocked out the work.

The overall experience was good. They were very professional and it took 1 day to complete it. The windows look good and have no leaks.

Scheduled an estimate for roofing in September. Estimator knocked on the door and said he had some measurements to take and would get back with me. After measuring (from the ground), he went to his car and left. After a few weeks I had to call them to get the estimate and it still took another week after that. Apparently they didn't want my business.

B & T Roofing was to re-shingle damaged "porch" roof & repair hole prior to the shingles - damaged roof was due to large tree branch falling on porch and puncturing one area of the porch roof. 15. How did it go overall? Tell us the story from start to finish (10,000 character limit): B&T Roofing Rep. stopped at my home to go over details and price, gave me paperwork with job estimate indicating the requested $900.00 down payment deducted from the quoted amount. Two calls have been made since the work was started to increase the balance by $500.00, said it was necessary to have an additional portion re-shingled too (Although I wasn't sure why B&T roofing deemed this necessary, I did agree to this) - and then $800.00, after the job was finished, stating they encountered problems that required extra materials. Did not notify me in advance of any problems or that another $800.00 was going to be necessary to pay off the balance. Have involved my insurance company to investigate as they stated the extra charges were extreme. I feel as though B&T Roofing is trying to take advantage of me with their "surprise" additional costs. The quote was pricey to begin with but I thought the workmanship/repairs would be "quality" work and therefore justify the initial price by having a job well done with no problems. If the porch repairs were done professionally, I have no problem paying the contract, agreed balance!

On time for the estimate, completed the work as scheduled, at a fair and competitive price.

B & T Roofing fixed a part of my roof where the wood had rotted under the shingles due to a leak. They also installed four new skylights and caulked around the vents on the roof to prevent leaks there. The work took the better part of two days. All of the roofers were courteous and professional and cleaned up well when they were finished. The new skylights look great, and I am confident that there should be no roof leaks this winter. I was very favorably impressed with all of the employees of B & T Roofing who worked on my roof job. The price, while quite expensive, matched what the original estimate had stated, and I feel it was in line with the cost of a good quality roof repair and skylight installation job. Robert, who gave the initial estimate, was always responsive to my questions. He really "knows his stuff" when it comes to roofing.

B&T was very responsive in call back and setting up our initial appointment which was to be 4 days later. Robert Bills showed up on the appointed day and time to inspect and provide the estimate. There was a small section of the roof where he recommended all shingles be replaced., and there were other minor repairs elswhere. We accepted their estimate feeling it was fair. They scheduled the work within a day. Workers arrived on time. They completed the work, but left without telling us the state of completion (we were at home). Since I was away on business I asked my wife to call them to confirm that they were indeed done. Robert Bills said the workers were supposed to take pictures to show us that the work was done. They apparenty did not do this, but Robert promised he would be by the next day to do this. He followed up to our satisfaction.

We've used B&T Roofing twice this year, and could not be more pleased and impressed with their work. When a giant tree limb fell on our detached garage roof, they came out very quickly (and exactly on time the scheduler had given us), and found the damage was much greater than I could see ( it had three large holes, not just the one that was easily visible). They covered everything with a tarp, gave me a very reasonable estimate--so reasonable that I decided to add new gutters as well. They were back, right on time a couple of days later, and did a great job. Then, just last week, we had a leak form on the ceiling under a very problematic drainage/roofing area on our house that to date, nobody has been able to fix. I called B&T, and once again, their service rep came exactly on time two days later. His name is Robert, and he unloaded his ladder and went up to look. I explained that I thought it might be a flashing problem, plus I also asked if I could pay him to reattach some heating wires that we have used in the past in that area to try to lessen ice dams. After several trips up and down the ladder, he knocked on the door. He'd photographed the area, showed it to me and agreed that it very well might be a flashing problem. Luckily, he had an appropriate small piece on his truck, and installed it on the roof, plus took the time to reattach the wires. He said we needed to see how it does in a heavy rain, and if it doesn't completely fix things to call him back for another, more extensive try. When I went to pay him, he told me "no charge," and wouldn't even accept my offer to at least buy him lunch. Nobody (least of all I) should expect that "above and beyond" service. But there's a reason why B&T Roofing is a solid "A" on this list, and it starts and ends with top notch service, price and professionalism. There's no question who I'll call for all future roofing needs.
