Mike was extremely patient, and answered all of the questions I had. The install took a day, and a half, but they made sure to have the air conditioner working the first day so I wouldn't be without it. Everything was done very professionally with me being walked through all the parts of the install.

Mike did excellent maintenance on our old HVAC system for many years.
Now that we?re replacing the HVAC with a brand he doesn?t sell, we feel it?s best to use the company selling us the new unit.
Mike was nice enough to spend time advising us about how to buy the best system and the kinds of experience and certification to look for in an installer.
We appreciate all the good work he has done on our HVAC over the years.
It has been a pleasure having him in our home and working with Terri on the phone.

We've used Assurant Air since 2007. Scheduling is so easy. Leave a message and Terri calls back almost immediately to schedule your appointment. She's a pleasure to talk to! On Wednesday our air conditioner appeared to be dead. Called to schedule and Mike arrived on Thursday. He did a complete inspection of the air conditioning system, tweaked settings, added coolant, cleaned the coils and explained what and why for all the procedures. All is well! Absolutely recommend him!

My furnace blower stopped working. I called Assurance Air in the morning and they got me on their schedule for later that same day. When Mike arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem and said he would need to make a trip to his supplier (an hour round trip during rush hour) for a part. When he returned, he had the blower running in no time. Mike is very professional and a pleasure to do business with. He has done other work for me over several years and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Quite simply, Mike saved my life. He smelled an external gas line leak in my front yard. As a result, Columbia Gas repaired the line and installed a new digital outside gas meter. Mike is one of the most honest businessmen I've had the pleasure of meeting. He will be truthful if your home requires a new furnace or central air unit and he will be truthful if your unit simply needs repair. He explains his work in a manner that a non-HVAC person can understand. He will stay focused on your problem until there is a resolution. Mike is a genuinely good person and well as being funny, and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

They were very professional. On time for the appointment. He explained everything about air conditioners. Then explained what I would need for the size of my house. Very good price for the job. Very professional during the installation too.

I bought a big deal from Angie's List for another company. It was fine. Assurance Air took it over and it worked out well. The person who ran the other company had a family emergency. So he gave all his business to Assurance Air. I had to pay extra, because when they were doing the inspection, they noticed that something was wrong with our burners. So they had to replace that. The guy was very nice. He talked us through everything and explained. He got it taken care of; he helped us with the warranty. So it was a good experience. Their pricing was fair.

Mike originally came out to perform warranty service on my Aprilaire humidfier which I had purchased from a different contractor who had subsequently left the business and the area to take care of an elderly parent. Assurance Air was listed on the previous contractor's phone as taking care of his warranty work. It turned out nothing wrong with the humidifier. I thought Mike did a professional job. He looked at my furnance and suggested some maintenance actions. He wasn't pushy so I agreed and he came out the next week. He vacuumed the inside of the unit and cleaned the jets on the furnance. He also suggested ways to improve heating my two zone house.
I intend to have him out in the spring to look at my A/C unit as well. He wasn't cheap but I don't mind paying a little more if I feel that the expense is warranted. In this case I did feel that way. I will followup with another review in the spring.

Making the apppointment with Terri was very quick. In the course of the furnace inspection and cleaning, I chatted with Mike about the equipment and learned a lot. He's been doing this kind of work for decades . . . knows his stuff, is a good communicator, easy to get along with and leaves everything clean and tidy.
I signed up for the annual contract (includes furnace and AC routine maintenance plus a discount on repairs). A few weeks later, Mike stopped by to replace our UV bulb. I'm glad to have a competent HVAC company and expect to be doing business with Assurance Air for a long time!

I had originally called Assurrance Air because the outside fan stopped working and no cool air circulating. Mike came out on 8/24/12 and inspected the unit and the recommendation was to consider replacing the motor before next summer. He was able to get the fan motor going again but did tell me that there was the possibility that it could go out again in 24 hours or it might last me the rest of the summer. Unfortunately, my unit only worked until the next day and with my air conditioning unit being probably 15 or 16 years old, I opted to replace the central air as opposed to replacing the motor which seemed to be more cost effective. Mike emailed me my estimate that Sunday and was able to get my appointment set up quickly. Frank came out the following morning and had the unit installed by early afternoon. The cleanup went well with the removal of the old unit and platform base. Everything went well and house quickly cooled back down in a couple of hours. The new unit actually cools much better and has worked well since the installation. Frank set up my inspection and that was completed within 2 weeks of the AC installation and the inspection went very well also. Terri completed my warranty registration and emailed me and also sent me the information by mail. The communication each time I've used this company has been excellent.

They were wonderful at fitting me into their schedule within a day. The technician, Frank, did a thorough job checking the external unit, compressor, freon levels, etc. Unfortunately, it seems that a temperamental fuse that's dedicated to the AC circuit was the culprit. It was reassuring to have the rest of the system checked during the service call.
Assurance Air NEVER tries to hard sell or is misleading. It's never even a question of whether who I should call for my heating and/or cooling issues and I never second guess recommening them to friends.

Heard about their business from word of mouth. From the beginning, we spoke to Terri who was very helpful! They were able to schedule a cleaning right away and Frank the technician was actually a few minutes early to the appointment! (I didn't mind). Overall, they were very clean, efficient and professional. They took before and after pictures of the ducts to show they were indeed cleaned. Very honest business and did great work, would recommend to anybody!

Air conditioner unit was checked and the problem was a faulty thermostat. He didn't have the same type of programmable thermostat to replace the one that was installed in December, but he had another thermostat which was more user friendly for me based upon the size of my home. It's been a few weeks since it was installed, but I just recently turned the AC on and it's working just fine. Because the programmable unit was only a few months old, he didn't charge me anything to replace it. I thought he was very knowledgeable and was able to determine the problem in very little time. I plan to use this company again in the future when needed.

They came and evaluated the issue, ordered the neccessary part and were able to instal it/fix issue with inside coil within days.

Mike took a couple of hours to finish the job, and he cleaned up after himself. The unit is working great. They are very good at what they do. They are not only very professional but are also friendly, reliable and responsive. I?m just completely satisfied with them. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

They are wonderful. They are helpful and sweet. They do what they say and they are reliable. We have used them for years. They have maintained all of the equipment that was well past its shelf life. They contacted us when the feds were giving discounts. They spent two hours with us going through the different options that the federal government had. The system has done everything he said it would do. It has reduced our costs and dust in our home.

I made an appointment for them to come out. It ended up raining that day and they had to reschedule because they were far behind on appointments. The second time we rescheduled Mike came out and was nice, knowledgeable, and was very honest. My A/C is about 22 years old and it shows, but since I do not use it too often Mike said it doesn't really need to be replaced at this time. He filled it with more coolant, which made the initial estimate of $85 go up to $127, but it was understandable because I haven't had my A/C serviced in the 5 years I've lived at my home. Also, I had an appointment with another company for the next day to get my air vents cleaned, and Mike revealed that a majority of the time vents do not need to be cleaned unless one has bad allergies or has done major construction. The blower should have blown out everything that's going to come out (among other reasons). I canceled the appointment. My A/C cools my place much faster now!
