Kevin is a professional and he has a passion for his trade. I can't stress enough how much a difference that makes when it comes to a difficult and labor intensive job like setting tile. So many issues can occur in design, layout, sub floor/wall prep, tile selection, material selection, grout color, etc.. When it comes to selecting and installing tile, Artistic Marble and Tile is who I will call.
I got several price quotes and he was inline or better than the others. He showed up on time all 5 days, was flexible, and dedicated to getting this job done. Talking to him on the phone I could tell he knows the trade as I had studied up enough to know the issues. As well when he came out to inspect and provide the quote, it comforted me to see him thinking through all the issues (out of square walls, tile layout, etc..). He did a great job laying out the tile and setting it so it was even and square. It sounds easy, but it is not a do it yourself job to do a shower in large format tiles. When issues turned up that we hadn't talked through, he raised the issues and made them right. A lot of things can be "hacked" in this job without the owner knowing it, so make sure you have a professional involved in this. In Hindsight, I'd do the following on this project:
