Peterman's Tree & Lawn Service

Very professional in removing a very tall dead pine tree from a difficult place. Cleaned up and worked efficiently. Would recommend them to anyone.

Received 3 estimates for service.  Peterman's was the only one of the three to do comprehensive service (stump grinding & wood hauling) for one standard price.

Diane, who co-ordinates most of the activity, is great to work with.  She is upfront, pleasant but professional and didn't give me the hard-sell.  She was prompt for our scheduled estimate, and had the estimate completed in timely manner.  We decided to go with Peterman's because of the price and outstanding reviews from other customers.

Crew began work at scheduled time and worked well as a team.  Work was completed in one day, to include stump grinding and wood removal.  This was a true feat since two of the trees were 3 ft. or more in diameter at the base.  The largest tree was only 10 feet from my house and a second large tree was in close proximity to my neighbor's house.  No damage occurred in either instance.

Ratings are from last year - called this year (2015) multiple times and left messages as I wanted 2 cords of wood (ordered 1 cord last year) but no return call. Guess I may have to move on to someone else and that is a shame because they were super friendly on the phone and on delivery and would have used them until they went out of business or I no longer needed firewood. The wood was seasoned beautifully and great quality.

They were prompt, professional, fairly priced, and quality of work was excellent. They took down two very large pine trees and ground the stumps, work was completed within several hours. They hauled away all limbs and wood and thoroughly cleaned up the area. This was the second time we have hired them and are very pleased with their work. Would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Diane with Petermans was great to communicate with. She came out asap for an estimate, she stated they were pretty busy, and could take about a month to get out to complete the job, but they ended up coming within a few days. Got the whole job done in 2 hours, and were great with my requests to cut down some trees they  missed.

This service was recommended by a trusted neighbor and they are a part of the community.  I got a free estimate in writing and accepted.  Service was completed within two weeks (slight delay for Ohio winter weather).  The trees were removed and the yard cleaned up of all debris.  They even cut and piled the wood for me to give to a family member.  I would happily use Peterman's Tree Service in the future, and recommend them.

It was a fair price. I liked them. They showed up when they said they were going to. They delivered when they said they were gonna deliver. The staff was fine. It took them three days so that was pretty good.

We had Peterman's Tree Service remove several trees in our yard and in the yard of our business.  They showed up on time for the estimate and for the actual removal.  The price was reasonable and in line with the estimate.  The work and clean up were done to our expectations.

It turned out good. We were happy and we'd use them again. They did everything that we asked and stuck to their quote.

It took approximately 7 (SEVEN) months to get this one tree cut done. I was told the delay, after given specific dates numerous times , were due to the weather. And I agree we had a bad winter. But once I was actually told it was because they had a "much bigger job they couldn't pass up. My contract was dated 10/1/13. Finally got done 4/24/14. Don't hire if you want anything done soon !!

They had good communication, they were timely, and they did what I requested. I had no problems; I was not there when they did the service but it was all cleaned up and they did exactly what I wanted them to do.

I have used Peterman both at my home and at my work and been pleased with their service every time. Diane Peterman is responsive and gives a fair price. The work is done promptly and as quoted. Cleanup is so good you have to see them (and the missing tree) to know they were really here. Highly recommended!

A tree in our back yard was split and in danger of falling on the house.  Peterman came out and looked at it right away.  They got it taken care of the next week, showing up even before they said they would.  They worked quickly, cut and left the pieces that were usable for firewood and ground down the stump.  They came back that evening and hauled the rest away.  That same day, they also ground down an additional stump (for the price listed above).  We'd used Peterman's before this, have always been pleased with their work and will use them again should the  need arise.

There were some trees that were 3 foot in diameter or bigger,  right next to the house.  They did very well on clean up we asked them to set the wood up and cut it up into fire place size logs.  They did that and cleaned up everything except those logs.  They were going to do some stump removal but it was too wet, so they reduced their quote $100.00
