 + -1 moreMatt Lightner does quality work and his finish work is great. I couldn't be more pleased, He did what he said he would do. He gave me a realistic quote and timeline of when the work could be scheduled and we went from there.

 + 0 moreMatt did a great job!! He took great care to match the wood pieces and was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He even went out of his way to stain pieces for us and added in a stairway rail at the stop of our stairs for free! Everything turned out great. His prices were very reasonable as well. We highly recommend him and will use him for any of our future carpentry needs.
Description of Work: Matt replaced the stairway rail, balusters, and a stairway step in our home.

 + -1 moreI am an Interior Designer and it is very important to me that I have the best in the business. Matt is the very Best. My client was very pleased, and he completed the work in recorded time. We are lucky to have a great Master Carpenter in Columbus, Ohio!!
Description of Work: He made custom book shelves and file cabinets for my client Painted an old piece of furniture (hutch) added a light to update the item. Cut the back down from an entertainment center and refitted the insides for storage for my client Put up crown molding in the living areas of the condo . Matt. did a great job. Very, very professional. I can not wait to use him again on other projects. So great to have someone that knows what they are doing. A REAL CRAFTSMAN.

 + 0 moreMatt constructed and finished all the units off-site and assembled them here. Everything fit perfectly. He was easy to work with and completed the project on time. Matt is an excellent craftsman. He built a beautiful mantel for my prior home about ten years ago. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: I moved into a condo that needed storage space. Matt Lightner designed, fabricated, installed and finished three built-in shelving units. (1) Office/guest room--A large book case. He built two upper units with adjustable shelves that were tied together with a fixed shelf unit spanning over a sleeper sofa. The lower units were built as cabinets with doors. One cabinet contains two file drawers and two storage drawers. The other cabinet has an adjustable shelf. (2) Laundry room-- two cabinets open shelving with removable filler for dryer vent. (3) Great room--two cabinets with a solid countertop. Open shelving above, drawer and door below. .
