It has been a year and the floors look great.  I was curious to see if the floors would separate during the winter season because wood naturally contracts and expands with the temperature/humidity.  The floors remained very stable during the heating season.  Colonial Hardwoods provides a very professional installation.  The floors were stained with a chestnut stain followed by three coats of an oil-based sealer.  I am so satisfied with Colonial Hardwoods that they will be coming back to install hardwood in the master bedroom and hallway. I highly recommend this company.
