Yeltons is hands down the best company to work with. My experience with them in designing and creating a custom made engagement ring was absolutely second to none, they are the keystone of professionalism, great customer service as well as promptness, which is very hard to find in businesses these days. When I started to look for rings I had zero knowledge of jewelry, let alone any knowledge of diamonds or metals, and that is a scary feeling when you are going to purchase something expensive with no knowledge of the product. After meeting with a yeltons representative I walked out of their store with what almost felt like a college course in diamonds, and the particular metal I was interested in for the band and felt extremely comfortable with what I was doing. Of course I had lots and lots of questions through the process of creating a custom made ring, but I was met with very prompt responses. Quality companies like yeltons who base their business on the very best standards like they do are truly a dying breed in small businesses today and more companies should take note of their professionalism, customer service and communication with customers. I left them feeling like I had gained great friends which is a great feeling, and from now on if I need anything jewelry related I don't care if it is a watch battery I will make it a point to get it from yeltons.

Upon entering the store I was treated like a VIP. Although I was just there for a jewelry repair, I was offered a chair and a bottle of water. The repair was excellent, very reasonable and timely. Genuinely nice people. I am so pleased I have given them more rings to repair. - Leigh Dovel

They are great. The workers there are very professionals. They are very welcoming. The pricing for the watch repair was reasonable. I think it was $10-$15. Outstanding service.

The store has a snobby feel to it now. It isn't the same as when the elder Mr. Yelton was alive and working there. He was a very friendly outgoing person. Some of the people working there now act like they just don't care.

My mom, wife and I try very hard as a family owned store to make everyone feel important - because they are. Even if its just changing a watch battery. I tried looking up your information to see who exactly assisted you but we have no record of it in our system so if you have a name or if it was even myself please let me know and I will handle it directly. I will make it a point though to make sure it doesn't happen again with any of our staff. My father was a very unique personality and although we know we can never replace him or his outgoing personality we do want to provide a store and an atmosphere that he would be proud of. We are in a bigger space now and not everyone likes that but we did it so we could provide better selection and service... obviously something we fell short on during your last trip. We understand that you don't want to recommend us to others but hopefully you will give us another chance in the future to change your mind. I couldn't tell from the review if you felt $10 was excessive for a watch battery or not but it sounded like you thought it might have been. It's actually $9.41 plus tax (which is $10). I know there are other places that might be less but changing your battery with a professional does have its benefits including being fully insured, experienced and guaranteeing the battery for a year. Looking back it was the same price back in 2008 when you had another battery changed at our old location. We haven't changed our pricing on batteries in years so I hope you feel we were at least fair in that aspect. Again, if there's anything else I can do personally please don't hesitate to call me directly at the store. We hate to lose a single customer for any reason. Best Regards, Mark Yelton"
