I provided exact tank sizes when seeking quotes. Winelco provided a quote of $325. Service bill charged was $525; 40% higher charge. I called to speak with management about quote vs charge with no return call. Winelco website markets that they don’t pump any water, only waste. When I shopped for service, Winelco was significantly lower and the “no water pumped” was part of explanation for why they are cheaper. As it ends up they were more than ALL quotes. I see this as an integrity issue…DO NOT USE WINELCO.

Ed was friendly, professional, informative, very thorough, and answered all of our questions. He pointed out a root invasion inside the tank and suggested a remedy. He even checked for problems elsewhere in the system, because we had mentioned that Hamilton County would be conducting an inspection within the next 60 days. He also took the time to clean out the inside of the tank with a hose. He was here for more than an hour. We would definitely recommend Winelco Inc for septic system work.

Great; but, overpriced in my opinion. I found out that the county will do one for $150

The first representative came out went down to the unit, ran water for a few minutes and came back upstairs and told me the unit was grinding due to worn bearings, this took him 3-4 minutes. He said he had another representative coming over as well, he showed up shortly after the first 'inspection' was done. We all went down to the basement again, ran water and listened to the unit, the second gentleman agreed with the first one. They quoted $3,800 for a replacement unit, I told them I was unemployed and not prepared to do that. They then billed me $200 for the service call...$200 and they were there for a not even 15 minutes. I told the gentlemen that it was outrageous, they didn't touch a thing, didn't turn a wrench, only listened...in-and-out of my home in under 15 minutes and they billed me $200. In addition I had spent $1,339 just 1-year ago with them to repair the unit and totally replace all parts of the grinder pump. The representatives were very polite and respectful but billing a past customer $200 for 15-minutes and then quoting $3,800 for a new unit was simply unbelievable.

The inspection went well but when they were finished both concrete lids were broken. One had been cracked previously and just gave way, the second broke when it was dropped. The tech told my client that, once he closes on the home, if he signs a service agreement they will provide the lids for free. As it turns out, the appraiser made note of the broken lids and the lender required them to be replaced prior to closing. I called WINELCO and they would replace the lids for $200 prior to closing. I asked if they would refund the price if the buyer signed a service agreement after he closed on the house, per the Tech's word, and they said they had no notes to that effect. I paid the $200 to be able to close and to my knowledge the buyer did sign a service agreement after the closing. I have used WINELCO in the past and they are a reputable company.

Taylor came out and inspected my tank prior to me purchasing my new home. He took time to explain how the tank worked and was extremely nice during the process. In addition, both times I've called their office the lady that answered has been friendly and extremely helpful! The cost to pump my system has been quoted lower than other companies so I have that scheduled also. I will continue to use this company in the future!

I called Winelco about a backup issue from my sewage pumping station. Taylor and Andy arrived within the hour (yes, within the hour of the day of the call) given the overflow issue we were having. They pumped by tank, identified the issue as a bad pump, installed a and quot;LOANERand quot; pump to get us back up and running, and will be doing the warranty repairs all through the pump dealer.
It is always unfortunate when you have a need for a septic company; however, if I'm ever in need again I will call Winelco. From top to bottom this is a quality organization who came through for our family even when the original installer (whom we paid thousands of dollars to install this system) did not make us a priority.
Thanks to Taylor and Andy and I recommend Winelco if you find yourself in an unfortunate sewer backup/overflow issue.

Andy arrived on time and was immediately able to locate the service hatch for the septic system, which was unknown to the previous homeowners. He took his time explaining how the system works, what to look for in the future, and how to maintain the system day to day. Will use Winelco for all future system maintenance.

I called Winelco on a referral from my next-door neighbor, to check out the septic system on a house I had recently purchased. The woman on the phone was courteous, explained their preventative maintenance program, and scheduled the serviceman for the next day. He arrived within the time interval promised and had the requested service agreement in hand for me to complete and sign. He thoroughly checked the system, reviewed its basic workings with me, and suggested a light and relay be installed (there was none) so that I would be alerted when and if the system stops working. I took his suggestion and he had the part with him. The part turned out to be defective so he said he would return the next morning with another and would fix it. He returned the next day and worked about 30 minutes to install the parts. He came to the door to tell me all was well and he was finished. I was very pleased with his professionalism, knowledge of the industry, and his patience in explaining everything to me (a newby to septic systems.)

I expected to have all the work done on the same day. I took time off work. The worker arrived on time and pumped the system. When I asked about the timer and lid, he seemed to have no clue. He said the timer probably needed fixed since it does not stop running. He didn't know where to get a lid and said it would probably take months to get one. I explained that I had three weeks before it is reinspected again. Winelco website advertises that they are 'full service septic, wastewater and water treatment solutions.' They are high priced for just pumping the system. I still need work done and will have to pay even more money to have the timer repair/replaced and find a lid. I didn't expect to have to do all this myself! I would not recommend nor use this company again.

We called Winelco in early January when we noticed that the septic/aeration system control panel light was on. Resetting the system using the reset button did not work. We had this happen once before which was caused by a bad pump. We had lost the name of the previous repair company so we called Winelco as they had good ratings on Angie's list. A technician came out and looked at our system and told my wife we needed a different brand pump and new riser. My wife said he was very nice and professional and she agreed to have him start on the repairs. The fellow removed the pump and dug up the riser. A service representative called me the next day to tell me what I needed and when I asked about why it needed a different brand pump he did not have any explanation. He could not tell me why so he told me he would find out. The following day passed with no call. I called the service rep. back and he openly complained about the technician not calling me. The service rep. then told me he would absolutely have an answer for me and call me by the next day. Well, no answer came the following day (a Friday) and I had to leave a message on their answering machine. A supervisor finally called me back on Monday and later that day the technician called me to give me an explanation. I got a final estimate and agreed to the work. They had to order a rebuilt pump and a new riser (apparently the one I had was too short). I waited a couple of weeks and heard nothing about when the pump would arrive. I called the company and they told me it would be soon and the pump arrived about a week later. The technician came back to install the unit and he completed the work. When I got home I found that the back yard was still dug up which is understandable considering the freezing conditions. However, they left the old concrete riser just laying there. My wife told me that the technician said it was too heavy for him to remove even though the new one they installed was bigger. The bottom line is that I believe this company probably has good and friendly technicians but the company lacks a sense of urgency in communications and tracking project duration. I suspect that their technicians are overscheduled. I felt that the service representative complaining about the technician was unprofessional. The service representative should have taken responsibility for following up and stayed good to his word on promising to call back. Once I finally got to speak with the technician directly I was able to get my questions answered. My other complaint is that they should clean up after themselves when they leave... remove the old riser, put the leech field tool away and don't leave a big pile of dirt where they dug (even if they have to come back on a warmer day). The last time I had the pump replaced I recall it taking about a week but this time it was about 4 weeks.
