On Moving Day, the movers that showed up immediately knew that the quote was wrong and they called in additional men. In the end: 5 guys, 2 trucks, ~11 hours, $2700! The Tylersville front office called to investigate huge price difference and said they would be in contact, but then would not call back when I left messages. When I finally reached the owner on the phone, he (Chad) explained it was a prior owner, and "not our fault". He basically stated that he wouldn't do anything for me. During this time, I had my items stuck in storage, and had already "moved" into the new house, sleeping on air mattresses I bought due to no furniture, etc. I was trying to get Tylersville to work with me on the second part of my move. I had to pressure Chad to work with me on a "discount" moving from my storage unit into my new house (due to the huge initial discrepancy), but then wouldn't work with me on a date. And I needed my things in my new home immediately. I was in my new home and waiting for my furniture, packed clothes, etc. I contacted different movers - Two Men and a Truck - Mason office. When I informed the Tylersville office that the Mason location (which is a different franchise) was willing to move me instead, Tylersville acted absolutely thrilled to not move me again. Their exact words were "You don't need us anymore? AWESOME!!!" I was confused by this response: at no time was I rude or irate with the front office staff or the owner. So to recap: Tylersville moving guys were great, but their front office / owner - TERRIBLE. The Mason location move me the second time. They were fantastic from beginning to end. And their quote was accurate: their cost to move me from storage to my new home was much cheaper than Tylersville's second "quote" - even with the "discount"! If you're in the West Chester or Mason area and looking for Two Men and a Truck: know the mover franchises. The Mason Two Men and a Truck have a great reputation. The Tylersville location however - does not.

This team of three young men were good, but seemed inexperienced, so it took much longer than estimated. After some discussion the manager agreed to lower the rate to what our first move cost with just two men.

When I call Two Men And A Truck, I call an 800 company number, the man was very nice and he gave me all the information. This was kind of a rush thing, I had purchased something and I had to need it moved in the next day or two so I didn't have time to shop around for anybody so I just called them because they're widely known. I thought that's their business they should do okay. I called and the man explained everything to me, gave me the price which I was satisfied with and so I gave them my credit card and I set aside an appointment for the next day at 5:30. He said the appointment will be between 3 and 6 but the other move they have is going to take them a long time so they'd probably won't be there at that time but we're going to say it's between 3 and 6. The person I was purchasing it from told me he would be home by 5:30. The next day, I get a phone call at 2 o'clock from the Westchester office, that's the local people calling me, the lady said we finished early on our other and we're on our way to your job. I was like no because I had it set-up for 5:30. She was like, we don't have any 5:30 appointment, they're coming right now and you're going to be charged for the time they leave the office. She talked to me like a dog, just told me what she was going to do. Then I was in a blind panic. I needed to get this stuff, the man is selling the house so were in a bind and I didn't have time to call another mover. I called the man at his job and asked him could he meet me there at 3 o'clock, now they pushed the time up from 5:30 to 3. He said, sure, no problem, I'll do it because he needed to get it out too because his closing on the house is this weekend. He left work, he actually got there right before I did because I had stopped at the bank to get a check to pay him for it. We both got there within 5 minutes of each other. They had walked in and started wrapping everything up for the move, it's just one bed, 4 set. They put it on the truck, very neat, I was very pleased with the movers. The sad part about it is the movers were excellent. Then they followed us to our house, unloaded it, perfect, set everything, no problem but they charged me for 3 hours. They charged me fro the time they left which was 2 something to 5:40 was the time span that they charge me for. I wound up paying $100 something more than the man told me. The man that I made the appointment with said we don't charge for driving time, we only charge for the time that we're there. The time they were there was 2 hours which I understood I had to have a 2 hour minimum so that's what I assumed I will be paying. The lady was so nasty I said I will never use them again just because of that. The movers did a good job but she was so nasty and she charged me more than I think she should have, that was just so unnecessary. It's unnecessary to talk to anybody like that. I don't think they're bad movers and they told me two conflicting things. Today I plan to call the original man back and ask him about that. If I had to pay, I don't care but the thing is they haven't told me. If they told me that in the beginning maybe I would have called someone else.

Performed an "in house" move, as we were having our entire main level flooring re-done. They arrived on time, worked from the minute they arrived, and I felt very comfortable having them in my home.

I was very impressed with Two Men and A Truck. I contacted several movers and 2 Men and a Truck were the most referred to me by friends. They were reasonable and we were happy with the move. They arrived on time, loaded the truck very quickly and got to our new house in Mason sooner than expected. It was a super hot day and they still moved quick. It's been a few months since our move and I don't recall the guy's names, but we were very happy with them. They took good care of our belongings and we had nothing break! They even came in under the suggested quote so we saved a couple hundred dollars after all. Thanks!

The two workers, Nick and Nate, were professional. Unfortunately, they arrived early. Normally that would not be bad but it meant we had to pay them while they waited. Had they arrived when they said they would then we would have been ready and waiting for them. They did everything we asked of them and they were very careful not to scratch or damage anything. My problem is not with their service, it is that they charged us for the trip back to their office. I knew we would have to pay from the time they left the office but I was not told I'd have to pay for their time returning to the office. I was left to believe that they would only charge until the job was done. To me, the job is done when they are no longer performing the task you hired them to do. This does not include their driving back to the office. I at least should have been told that this was their practice and, yes, I would not have hired them had I been told of this policy. I hired them for their reputation on being professional and careful with our items, however, I won't hire them again because of their policy of paying for them to return to their office. There are a lot more companies out there that are just as professional and don't charge this extra fee.

We had several items damaged in the move, then they tried to cover up the damaged goods after the move. They did try to fix the items, which were done poorly and we noticed additional damaged items after the move; which we were not able to report. I did think the moving guys were very nice, but did drop a box of breakable items in front of me and I don't think they would have told me if I had not seen it. I would say that their pricing was reasonable.

They were good with the furniture, and even set it up in my house for me. They protected the furniture very well and nothing was broken. I have recommended them to friends and they thought they were great too. They were also on time and very reasonably priced.

As someone who has moved around a lot, I have dealt with many moving companies and I can say without hesitation that this is the best experience I've had. First, they were extremely easy to deal with in terms of scheduling the move. I had to change my move date 3 times and it wasn't a problem at all. I put a $100 deposit when scheduling the move and they required nothing else (money-wise) from me prior to the move. Also, their estimate was accurate within 30 minutes. Next, they said they would come at the exact time that they did. The guys were super nice, went over the paperwork with me which was very clear and concise. They started the move and were great at communicating any foreseeable issues they may run into. The guys were SO HARD WORKING and I know it wasn't easy (I was moving from a 3 story walk up shot gun apartment... i.e. narrow doorways and hallways). After they were finished, we went over a last bit of paperwork and payment and they left. I had no issues with them whatsoever and I highly recommend them to anyone making an in-town move. (I can't speak for long distance moving but I'm sure the service would be comparable!)

They were able to schedule with less than a week notice. The move only took only half a day, which is good since they charge by the hour. They were literally running up our driveway, which has a big hill.

The guys showed up right on time and were very friendly and ready to work. As we were showing them what we wanted done, my sister and I started to get into an argument right in front of them. They both handled it well and acted very professionally. Because my sister and I didn't plan very well, we ended up dumping more work on them than what the job was planned for. They accommodated and never hesitated to take on whatever extra work we gave them. They were very fast, efficient, and handled our belongings with great care. Not one thing was mishandled, bumped or broken. They were great to work with and we didn't have one complaint or regret. They were great! Highly recommended!

Movers arrived on time; completed paperwork, and moved all items in timely fashion. Did not loaf around and actually hustled up and down 3 flights of stairs. Upon completion of move, heated discussion ensued regards final bill. Added on a travel time charge although it was specifically listed on web site and printed quote that TRAVEL time was not charged. Did get them to reduce it 1/4 hour while movers were there. They repeatedly bad mouthed the sales department indicating they would go back and straighten her out. Very disrespectful throughout that final discussion. Finally got all travel charges reduced next day after speaking to supervisors. BUT EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE, THEY WILL TRY AND SLIP IN IT.....it is on a pre-move sheet you sign before beginning the work. I would recommend them for the quality of the work, but not for their professionalism. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, that I was had for a few days. I felt they were as sneaking as car salesmen.

Very well. Although it was planned in advance, WE underestimated the amount of things to move resulting in the need for a second truck, which arrived before the first truck had departed. The entire thing took longer then anyone expected, but I do not feel it was because of the movers.

It was very positive. The two men, Rob and Robbie, were professional, careful, and honest. When they took a break, they took me off the clock. Their cheerfulness from moving all of my things from an upstairs to an upstairs was almost not to be believed. Their office staff were also nice to work with. They took my extra boxes back with no complaints at all.

They showed up on time, calling 20 minutes ahead, as scheduled. The two guys were friendly and well mannered--the nicest contractors I've had work for me. They worked hard and continuously, though not always with their head. They never used an appliance dolly, even for our very heavy washing machine, so it almost fell down the stairs on the move out. It did fall down a couple stairs on the move into our basement. Luckily, the washer still works and just has a couple scratches. One guy used a dolly on occasion to move more than one box at a time, but most of the time they carried the boxes one by one. They placed things where I asked in our house and were happy to reposition anything I asked them to. I did find some scratch marks on my dresser and bed and some small gouges in our newly painted walls, but I can touch them up. Most things were cared for well, including a large mirror and a large painting.

Two young men came as scheduled but could not get their truck up our (very steep) driveway. In fact, the truck got stuck and they had to wait 2-3 hours to get it towed. They were very polite and apologetic and were able to schedule our move for the next day. They came as scheduled the second day and moved our furniture within the time promised. They were extremely polite and very professional. They were also very careful with our belongings. Their office staff was just as polite. We were treated very well and I would highly recommend them.
