HOUSEMASTER

Dan Kreps, owner of the local HouseMaster franchise provided the work. He arrived on time and immediately set about his work. Mr. Kreps was thoroughly professional in his approach. Prior to starting his inspection, he explained the process he would follow and gave us a notebook in which all points of his inspection were detailed. While to a casual observer it might appear he was moving through the points of inspection quickly, it soon became apparent that he simply had a well practiced routine he followed and knew what he was looking for. In the course of his inspection, he found several causes for concern. Once his physical inspection was completed, he entered his findings into a computer program that generated a narrative report. He walked us through his report, page by page, explaining each finding in detail. He told us that the report would be made available to us and our realtor on his website by the following day and that each of the concerns he found would be illustrated with photographs taken during the inspection. The next day the report was available as promised as were separate reports on the findings from radon testing and destroying insect inspection. I was completely satisfied with Mr. Kreps' expertise and professionalism. He was also pleasant to work with. In the near future I will be selling the house in which we currently live. Since it is an older house, I plan to have it inspected prior to sale to determine what I need to repair prior to listing the house. I intend to use Mr. Kreps' HouseMaster service for this inspection.

Dan came to the house and was very professional.  He took time to answer our questions and show us what he had observed.  A report was generated with high resolution images that were annotated with arrows and circles to show what was being referenced in the report.

Everything went great.  Dan and Toni were easy to work with to schedule the inspection.  We decided to join near the end of the inspection and after Dan finished up he walked us line by line through his entire report and detailed any conditions he found that were out of the ordinary.  He answered all the questions we had and his knowledge and experience definitely showed.

They were able to set up an inspection very quickly--2 days after I called. The inspection was thorough and documented with digital images. We received a very detailed inspection report. The price was comparable to other companies and they provide more services.
