Mark was professional and put in extra effort to make sure the work got done in the time frame promised. The quality of the work was excellent. Mark was always very responsive when sent questions or to schedule.

He was extremely thorough and will also in a very no pressure way, gave some quotes on some other things that we are thinking about doing down the line. He left a very detailed price sheet of other services he offers, I’ve always appreciated that.

Because Mark came quickly and fixed the issue, we were able to get our Christmas lights up for the season .He also gave us a number of options to upgrade and correct the entire outside system. We will do so in the spring with warmer weather.

Excellent. Mark is very professional and responsive both via phone and email. He provided a written estimate, ordered the parts needed and scheduled an installation time that was convenient for us. He did a great job and cleaned up each area where he worked. I would highly recommend him. (The only reason I gave him a B on price is I was told by someone in the business that this seemed high but I have no way of knowing if that's true.)

I had worked with Mr. Holzmacher before, so I expected a repeat of the same great job ... however, Mr. Holzmacher exceeded all my expectations.  I expected a nice job, but I received finished results so amazing, that I'm flipping my ceiling lights on and off just for repeat thrill.  It feels like I have a couple brand new rooms and I love the work he did.  Mr. Holzmacher is so courteous and explains everything, step by step.  He is dependable, reliable, and does wonderful work.

Mark was recommended to me by way of another service provider whom I trusted. I checked Angie's List for reviews, and decided Mark Holzmacher was indeed the man I wanted working on my electrical issues. Mark was able to come come out within days of my initial call. He is thorough. I wish he hadn't found so many problems with my whole electrical system, but he did. He gave me a written breakdown with exact costs of the areas of concern, code violations, and installing an outlet on my deck. Now it was up to me to decide what I wanted him to do. Mark began working through the problems on the list. 
Mark is a highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and conscientious electrician. I was kept abreast of what Mark was accomplishing, and shown the finished work before he left. On the final day of work, Mark brought a helper to be sure the job got completed that day. I was never inconvenienced while Mark was working. On two of the days I had grandsons over, and we had continuous power and air-conditioning. 
I can honestly say I did not price compare before hiring Mark. My highest priorities for hiring someone to diagnose and complete the electrical work was to find someone with both integrity and knowledge. I believe I found those qualities in Mark. I absolutely would hire Mark again if there should ever be another electrical problem. I would also recommend Mark Holzmacher for whatever your electrical need is. He is a great detective if you have an electrical mystery.

Beautiful.  What a difference: light works properly and looks so nice.  I enjoyed doing business with this company.

This is my first write up on Angie's list.  I wanted to write a review so badly, that my daughter went out and got me a 4 year membership for Angie's List. 
This was my 3rd experience with this specific electrician and I can tell you he is excellent.  He stands by his work, and calls you back immediately, if you need anything, such as advice or help.    He is extremely professional, helpfuland I just want to give you an example of the extras he will do.   I had a chirping noise driving me crazy in the basement.  My son in law even disconnected the battery operated fire alarm and it kept chirping for weeks.  When Mark Holzmacher got done with the work I was paying him for, he went down to my laundry room.  His very words were "I am going to find that noise for you, if it takes all day".  And, he did.  He found another smoke alarm I had forgotten about in a basket and took it out of the house.  The peace and quiet along with my new exterior lights he fixed and installed for me made me a very happy person, I can tell you.   He didnt have to care about the noise, he was not getting paid to find it, and it may sound like a small thing, but it shows the type of person you are dealing with here.
He has always been fair, up front with me and honest.  I am very pleased that he is my electrician and I recommend him to the nurses I work with and all my family.  
And, now, because of him.....   I am a member of Angie's List too!!

Mark promptly responded to my call and came out the next day to give an estimate and was able to do the installation the same evening. The work was done quickly and professionally. Note that there is a $69 charge to come out for the estimate that is applied to the job if you accept the estimate.

Very, very pleased with the service provided by Holzmacher Electric.  The  flloodlights in our Great Room are at the top of an 18ft ceiling.  He brings his ladder and the job is over and done with quickly.  Protects floor and furnishings.  Highly recommended.

We selected Holzmacher Electric based on their excellent reputation and longevity in the business.  We're glad we did!  Mark (owner and master electrician) did an excellent job.  A few of the fixture installs were a bit tricky.  Mark tackled them like a true pro.  His attention to detail and quality standards surpassed our expections. 

It was his suggestion to install a new outlet behind the to be installed TV.   The original outlet was hidden inside a custom made corner cabinet that was  installed when we had the kitchen professionally remodeled in 2009.   Mark didn't like the idea of 6-inches of cord trailing up the wall in our beautiful kitchen.  I told him I could hide it with a vase or large bowl.  Not good enough for Mark.  We took his suggestion and approved the new outlet.  He was absolutely correct! 

Mark was on time, professional, polite and considerate (AND very tolerant) of our pets  AND he cleaned-up after himself.  We highly recommend him!

I have had some electrical questions after the last time I had used him.  I had given him a call.  He had answered all of them over the phone and he was very helpful.  I had spent about $2500 over a three-year period for various jobs.  I had referred him to a friend as well.  The price that he gave my friend was a little bit higher than what I was paying but I gave him a lot of business.  I like his willingness to answer questions.  He did let me sit there and watch him work.  He explained what he was doing.  I have had other contractors come in.  They were kind of cold and won't answer much.  They weren’t willing to help me out the same way that he did.  I really appreciate that he takes time with me and puts me at ease.
