Very professional service, crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up after the job was done. Concrete looks good.

They were punctual and hard working. All aspects were performed as true professionals. I did tell Dan that he was a real "Artist" . Very happy.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job with the driveway and post for me. He was very easy to work with, performed the work as expected and on time. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend DKF construction and plan to use Dan again in the future.

It went very well. Completed on time and good quality.

Dan doubled the size of my driveway. Put all new sidewalk and patio in. Dan and his crew were very profession on time and very friendly. The job turned out better than I had expected! I was so impressed that I've asked Dan to take a look at remolding my bathroom.

The owner came, looked at the portion needing replacement measuring it and verbally telling us what he would do. He arrived on the promised day for the estimate. Several days later I received an email detailed estimate of the work to be completed. He indicated it would take 2 days to do the work. Several weeks after I agreed to the work he sent an email with the date for the construction. He arrived on the proposed date with 2 workers and proceeded to remove the old concrete and set the forms. He found a soft spot in the soil under the old concrete and dug it out filling it with gravel and tamping it down. The next day they poured and finished the concrete. Late on the second day they removed the forms and filled in where the forms were with soil they had removed. The owner and workers were extremely professional  The finished driveway looks fantastic. They are real craftsmen with the concrete work. I would definitely consider contacting them for any additional work I might need.

The porch and new support posts did my much to update the look of the front of the house. We had some trouble with the wrap around the support posts which the company replaced to our satisfaction.

.I called Hugh Belt,from Premier Building Services,Inc., the roofing expert. It was hard for me to decide on a color. I asked him for his opinion. He told me and brought over 2 actual shingles for me to see them against my house. He also told me I could see other roofs that he had installed, one of them was of a  different color. He asked me what I thought of that one.Hugh told me his opinion of the best color. Hugh was so helpful to me! He answered my questions about the warranty. I had a problem some years ago with a leak into my family room. After it was repaired,a membrane was installed. The roofers didn't replace it.(It would have voided the warranty anyway.) Hugh came out to my house to explain everything about it. Hugh was confident that it wasn't needed and offered to call in a week to make sure there was no leaking. He said he would take care of the problem, if it happened. the only problem was the cold weather. It needed to be in the 40's. Hugh was watching the weather reports and e-mailed me that he would be out as soon as possible  Fortunately, there was a break and the roof was finished on 11/26/14. The crew was very punctual!

Came out a few days after calling to schedule quote, gave us an accurate estimate and comparable price to other quotes we received. We scheduled the work a few months out, and aside from unavoidable weather delays that pushed the start day back a few days, it was completed promptly and on time. The new driveway looks great! Would hire again.

The entire job is first rate. These guys were hard workers. They were onsite ever day for a full day even in the rain. I'm thoroughly happy with the job they did. Some of my neighbors even commented on the quality of the work and how professional they were. 
.Danny Feist owns the company but works with his brother Steve, Steve was here working everyday. Danny had other jobs he was involved in but I saw him most days and he dug right in and worked alongside the other men. I got to talk with Steve a few times since he was here everday I found him to be a very nice guy and very conscientious worker.
This was a big job.  
I expected the job to start in July but due to all the rain this summer the job got pushed back to October.
Two neighbors had new driveways installed over the past two years and I'm glad I had DKF Construction do my work. Also glad I found them on Angie's List.

Dan responded quickly to a voice mail I left asking for a quote to do the job.  He came to my house within two hours after we talked on the phone.  He gave me a reasonable price for the work and we agreed he would complete the work based on his schedule of other jobs.  He called on a Sunday afternoon, and asked if he could do the work the next day.  He and Jim, his helper, arrived on time, prepared the spot for the slab, which required more gravel than he originally thought, and when the truck arrived, poured the concrete and left a very nice finish on the slab. 
I paid him that afternoon and he returned the next day to remove the forms.  He did not increase the price even though additional gravel was needed which required him to go offsite to get the gravel.
All the work was done with care to the surrounding plants, trees, etc.  He and his workman were pleasant and professional.
I would definitely recommend Dan for any work you require and I would use him again if the need arises.

They were professional.  They did an excellent job.  They cleaned up their stuff.  The price was very reasonable.  They were extremely busy so we have to wait like two or three weeks.  I didn't have a problem with that because it wasn't that critical.

Dan Feist with DKF Construction did a great job on my concrete apron and walks.  I found his pricing very reasonable and his detail on service ever better.  I was able to coordinate the entire process via e-mail and have the driveway installed while my family was away on vacation for my convenience.  I would recommend DKF to anyone and look to have him come back and do more work at my residence.  Thanks Dan.  Randy R. My overall experience with this company was fantastic.  Dan came our promptly to give me an estimate.  His price was competitive with others.  When I was told the spa came in earlier than I thought, Dan worked with me to fit the job in his schedule and had the concrete patio poured within a few days of notification that the spa was in.  Also, I was told that the industry standard for concrete was 4000 psi and the other quotes I received were going with the industry standard.  However, Dan went with 4500 psi.  PSI is the pounds per inch is the amount of weight that the concrete can support (I had to look that up).  Needless to say, Dan's price was right in line with the other estimates only with a higher psi to support the spa.  The concrete patio has been up for a few weeks and still looks great.  Dan and his crew showed up on time and left the backyard very clean!!

He gave me a quote which was good.  It was $1125 that is very reasonable.  I bet I could have done for that little amount, as it only $1125, but the weather is so unstable and he has to wait for a real good weather, before he puts the concrete.   So he hasn’t done it yet.  He came very day I called him.  He has insurance and he was just so nice, polite and courteous.  He is going to put in two hand rails, two banisters, and I hadn’t mentioned that when I was over the phone, I am forgetful.  When I got there I told him I need two hand rails one on each side of the step.  It is difficult to get up down when you grow older and he is going to put in two hand rails and banisters.

Dan came out promptly to give an estimate.  When they started the work, they showed up when they said they would and they finished the job within the two day period that they said it would take.  Dan came out later to put down the top soil and to seed the area and to seal the driveway.

The company and Dan were always professional and the guys replacing the driveway seems very knowledgable about what needed to be done.  The new driveway looks great.  I am very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them for any driveways, replacements or new.

DKF Construction stopped in for a quote on a Thursday and work was started and completed the following Monday.  The quote was reasonable, and patio addition looks great. 

Dan Feist has always performed the work on time and does a superior job. He will keep you informed and work with you on any unexpected problems. His pricing has always been very fair. He also does basement/bath remodels, siding and decks. I plan to use him again in the future.
