piano tuning
 + -1 moreI have used Dale as a piano tuner for almost 15 years. We live about 20 miles north of I275, so it is quite a drive for him. This time, my neighbor also used him so he had two jobs together. She is a professional pianist and was very pleased with his work, so we will double schedule him again. He is not always as prompt returning a phone call as he could be, but he is always prompt, professional and does a good job. He also installs and maintains digital disc systems and humidifiers for pianos.
Description of Work: Tuned a baby grand piano.

 + -1 moreMr Hausman arrived on time, & was very experienced, professional, & personable.
Description of Work: Spinet piano manufactured in 1946 needed tuning. Mr Hausman tuned it, made a recommendation on the tuning interval, & also made a recommendation that we consider replacing a few of the tuning pins.

 + -1 moreMR. HAUSMAN SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND BROUGHT THE BADLY OUT-OF-TUNE PIANO INTO TUNE RAPIDLY. EVEN THOUGH HE HAD TO TUNE IT MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE IT WAS SO FAR OUT, HE DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE HAVING WORKED FOR BALDWIN FOR MANY, MANY YEARS BEFORE SETTING UP HIS OWN BUSINESS.
Description of Work: MR. HAUSMAN TUNED OUR PIANO AFTER IT HAD BEEN MOVED TO OUR HOUSE. THE PIANO WAS BADLY OUT OF TUNE. HE ALSO IDENTIFIED A STRUCTURAL PROBLEM WITH THE PIANO AND PROVIDED A QUOTE TO FIX IT.

 + -1 moreI HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH DALE. HE WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS AND APPEARED VERY COMPETENT. I HAVE OBSERVED NUMEROUS OTHER TUNERS OVER THE YEARS, AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL DALE AGAIN.
Description of Work: DALE CAME TO THE HOUSE AND DID A PROFESSIONAL PIANO TUNING ON MY YAMAHA STUDIO PIANO.
