Hardwood floor installation: A father and son team did this job. They were on time and very professional. They even had enough left over they did my small entry way! They cleaned up after them selves and were very respectful of us while we hung out in another part of the house.
Carpet: This was done by 3. This was a massive job as we still live in the house. We had 3 bedroom, 3 sets of stairs, living and family room done. Took all day and we had to leave the house for this job. 7 hours later, the job was done, and once again they cleaned up well and were very professional. The only thing I would have done different is to pay the $100 for them to haul the carpet away. That was a big job to!
I compared Steve Ellis/Buddys Carpet with 2 other places (Rite Rug and Simply Floors). Steves prices were much better then Simply Floors and the quality was much higher than Rite Rug. I could not be happier and would highly recommend them for flooring.

We did two projectswith Buddy's. First, we had the living room carpeted. This project went well, and we were pleased with the service and product (carpet). A few weeks later, we had our basement done using the same carpet. Here are where the issues
started. During installation, we had some issues. One of the seams was poorly done and they carpeted over some debris, causing a big bump in the middle of the room. Our main contact person at the office (Jeremy), who was very responsive at the beginning of the project, became nearly impossible to reach. Despite repeated calls, we could not get people scheduled to address the issues. I was very disappointed in how things turned out from a service perspective. The carpet, however, seems to be a nice product, and we are happy with it.

Sales team was very helpful and worked with us as we tried to make our selections. Installation was very quick and through (fitting into the schedule before we moved into our home). One of the carpets we chose was in stock and the other had to be ordered; they did the installation of the in stock carpet first and came back to do the carpet that had to be ordered (which they still were able to get in before our move date on short notice).

The carpet guys showed up a little later than we were told, but they were professional in every sense of the word. They got all of the carpet installed without chipping any of the new paint we hand just completed. Their installers were professional and answered every question we had. An overall great experience.

Steve Marx and his best installer have been doing all our properties since they corrected the problem on the first property. As I stated we got off to a rough start, but he worked hard to make us happy, provided us with his best installer and as long as this continues we will continue to hold our loyalty with him and Buddy's carpet. He has worked very hard to make and keep us happy, we appreciate that and have began a great working partnership that we see going on for years. I would recommend them based on Steve's concern for making right any wrong that happens. He does put his customers first.

I took a sample of the type of flooring I was looking for to this provider. He immediately identified the manufacturer then called around for suppliers, but said that the flooring would not be available for several months. When I asked about installation, he said that he had a team that would come out look at the space and give me a more accurate estimate. Then they would order and install the flooring. But it did not go any further than that. He was not trying to give me a hard sell and didn't pressure me to use his company. I appreciated that, but, in the end, I went with a provider that was a little more interested in getting my business.

Very pleased with experience, would definitely use again in future. highly recommend!

Steve helped us pick out the proper thickness and types of laminate we should be looking at for longevity. He sent us home with several samples and came over a few days later to perform the estimate. I was impressed with how thorough the estimate was and how well he explained everything. He came back that weekend with an offer that beat all of the local competitors for a good quality laminate. The flooring was dropped off that Tuesday for acclimation and the contractors arrived on Friday to remove old tile, prepare the underlayment and install. The installation went very well, the contractors were very professional and knowledgeable and the floor looks great. We will use this company in the future.
