The technician took the CD player for repair, will order parts and return when repaired. He estimated that it would take a period of no more than 3 weeks to complete and reinstall.

It went great. It was very expensive work (probably more than the equipment is actually worth), but it all had sentimental value to me. Ben was extremely thorough and told me exactly what he was going to need to do. To say Ben is knowledgeable about vintage stereo equipment is an understatement. His walls are literally covered with dozens of certifications from various brands and it was so nice to be able to trust that my equipment was going to be treated with the care and attention to detail I expected. I'm extremely happy with the service I received and will absolutely be going back to him for anything I need in the future.

Not good. I paid a few thousand for this turntable. It can't be replaced. I only went with this guy cause I colud not find anyone else who could work on it. Found out that he really wasn't as familiar with how to repair it from talking to him afterword.
