home remodeling
 + -1 moreThis company consists of two brothers, Jerry and Bob Szczur. They are both engineers, who started their own remodeling business last year. I admit that I was a little concerned about lack of experience, but there was no need for that concern. Each step of this process was a pleasure. They did everything they said they would do plus some extras. They started the job when promised and worked every day, full days, until it was finished. They went only about 3 days beyond their estimated project duration. The Szczurs are perfectionists and true professionals, and really nice guys. All the vendors we used (Ferguson, Central Light, and Tile Co.) commented on how much they enjoy working with Bob and Jerry. These guys can do it all and we have a gorgeous bathroom to prove it! The only aspect of the remodel they brought in help for was the plumbing, but they had informed us of that from the start. We plan to hire Azur for other remodeling needs.
Description of Work: Master bathroom remodel. We have a 2-room master bath. One room has a double-sink vanity. The other has the tub, shower, and toilet. To start, 4 walls had floor-to-ceiling mirrors that had to be removed. The mirrors had been glued on, so the dry wall had to be removed, also. The project included new dry wall installation; removal of wall-to-wall carpeting and installation of ceramic tile in its place; new toilet; new soaking tub with surrounding deck; shower with cultured marble walls and Basco doors, new double sink vanity; cultured marble counter; and extra cabinetry around vanity installed. More lighting was added to both rooms which required upgrading of existing wiring.
