I was able to schedule someone for the very next day.  The inspection took over 3 hours.  I joined the inspector; Steve, towards the last hour and he was very friendly, imformative and explained many things.  He also used pieces of equipment to test and get readings, but the most impressive was the infrared camera where he would actually look into walls to see if there was any water or insulation issues.  I recieved a detail report that night including lots of photos.  Problem areas had photos with problem description and recommendations.  When making a large purchase like a home it's well worth knowing all the problems up front.

Terrific job. Very thorough and has offered services for follow up. Came fully equipped and prepared to give report right on site including 19 pictures with specific references.

The Brick Kicker representative arrived before the scheduled time. He was inspecting the outside of the building when I arrived. Mr. Miller allowed me to follow him around as he performed the inspection. He explained what he was doing and answered my many questions. He used moisture meters, gas detecting equipment and other pieces of equipment during the inspection. He also went onto the roof and took pictures of some of the problem areas. The entire inspection took about three hours. A thorough report was generated on site explaining everything he found. I was given a professional report along with a sturdy binder. Which contained the written report along with pointers to maintain the property. There was also information in the binder about heating and air conditioning systems. Environmental and safety concerns, plumbing, and various other home systems such as insulation and ventilation.
