"Hello, [Member Name Removed]! Thank you so much for the kind words and positive review. We value any feedback that you are able to provide and we appreciate your business over the past couple years. We look forward to servicing your property this year as well. Thank you!"
"Hello. Reviewing our past notes left to you from our technician during the 5 visits we had on your property, it clearly stated that the lawn had bare spots and needed to be seeded. This was the case on your very first application with us in May of 2019 as well. Anytime a lawn has bare areas, you're going to have weeds as there's nothing to choke them out. The best defense against weeds is thick turf. Your lawn also has wild violets and this is by far the most difficult weed to control in the turf industry. It has also been three months since we have been on your property, so it is understandable that you would have weeds. Please keep in mind that we can only eliminate the weeds that are above the surface at the time of the applications and there is no way to prevent new weeds from germinating. Weeds will always come back up in any bare or thin areas until those areas are seeded and kept thick by watering and always mowing at the highest setting and we have left these notes and recommendations each time. We received notice of your dissatisfaction just right before you cancelled service two months ago, after we notified you that our service manager was stopping by to address weed issues. You denied us the opportunity to address issues and respray any weeds present when we were scheduled to come back out for a free service call on July 15th, 30 days after your last application with us. We would've been more than willing to stop back out and respray weeds at no charge at that time. As far as the neighbors lawn goes, please know that every lawn is different. Soil, turf type, mowing height, and watering habits all play into account on how frequently a lawn would be mowed. We appreciate your input and apologize for any negative experiences that you have had with our company. We try our best to educate our customers and give them realistic expectations through service summary recommendations, newsletters, and our Welcome to the Family packet and we apologize for any confusion regarding the services that we provide."
"Hello Mr. [Member Name Removed] - The concerns you have here differ from your concerns on your BBB complaint against us, so I will address them separately. As far as applying weed killer on your new seed from last fall's core aeration/overseeding, this is inaccurate and weed control was not applied to this area until well after the new seed had been established. We have been doing this for over 15 years and we are extremely knowledgeable on when to apply products to newly seeded areas and we are careful not to kill new seed. As such, we have no control over the weather and we cannot predict when it is going to rain, which is why we offer free service calls to come back and respray if weeds are not dying. Typically, weed control will dry quickly and rain later after the application will have no negative effect, but we still always back up our services and products with service calls. You know this well, because we had been back multiple times to respray for free after you were still having weed issues. We also went back to your property and completed a free aeration and overseeding after your original fall aeration/overseeding because you were not happy with the results. We backed up our service and completed it a second time for free. It is our understanding that you expected the results of a $1000+ slice seeding, instead of a $158 (+ tax) core aeration/overseeding that you had paid for. These services differ greatly. We visited one property 8 times, 4 visits paid and 4 services were free of charge. Your payment total was $361.21 for this property. On your second property you paid a total of $51.60 for the first application and we visited twice (totaling $103.20), leaving a balance of $51.60. We feel that the payments you made for the 10 services we completed are more than fair and we did our part to complete everything that was paid for, plus went above and beyond to address your concerns. It was evident that we were not able to satisfy you no matter what we offered and we decided to cancel your services because of this."
"Thank you for your positive review. We greatly appreciate your business and we look forward to continuing to work with you!"
"Thank you for your positive review. We are glad to hear that your yard looks great and the bugs are gone. We take great pride in our work. Thank you and we appreciate your business!"
"Thank you so much for the "A" rating. We appreciate your business over the years and we look forward to many more years of service on your property."
"Hello and thank you for your review. We try to get to all of our new customers within 10-14 treatable business days, as everything we do depends on weather conditions and it had been 12 business days before we had your application scheduled. Please understand that we cannot spray for weeds in windy or rainy conditions, as we want to make sure the product is applied correctly the first time. We had explained to you when you called in on May 17th that your application was scheduled for the following day, but you did not want it at that time. I am not sure what else we could have done at that point, since it was already scheduled for the next available day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."
"Hello and thank you for the positive review of our company. We greatly appreciate your business and we look forward to taking care of your lawn health needs again in 2018."
Had 1st early Spring application, with herbicide/fertilization done 5/5/14 and I feel it went fine. Three days later, however, on 5/8/14, there was an invoice in the front door for a core aeration and seeding (at $148.01). I was really surprised since I assumed I would be contacted ahead to approve such a treatment. Called the office to speak to Bob Brower and left message. When Mr. Brower called later he was immediately aggressive and started to tell me that because he had circled core aeration/seeding on his original assessment, and we touched on it briefly when I started service, that it meant I agreed with this treatment and didn't need contacting. I reminded him of welcome letter saying and quot;any good relationship begins with great communication .. to and from our customers. Mr. Brower agreed, but started arguing, rather loudly, with me about what was actually said. I do remember saying I had just had aeration done last Fall and would probably consider it for this Fall, 2014. We had discussed overseeding also but I was concerned about its success if we used herbicides. I said it was probably best if we terminated service. Mr. Brower, very loudly, said and quot;I agree, have a great dayand quot; and hung up.
I don't believe I have ever experienced such poor customer service from a company, especially one that was highly recommended on Angie's List. He was not interested in discussing anything...just bullying.
"Per your discussion with our General Manager, you had given us the "go-ahead" on the weed control/fertilizer applications, as well as the core aeration/overseed. We never complete services without the request of the customer. Your concern during the last phone conversation with our General Manager was just that of the herbicide being applied on the lawn prior to this core aeration/overseed. Due to seeding in the schedule, we actually used a STARTER FERTILIZER to help that seed germinate instead of the normal weed control/fertilizer application that we usually use during that application. We used a better product on your lawn due to the core aeration/overseed on the schedule and due to shade in your lawn. This will actually help the new seed germinate. Both the aeration and overseed are beneficial to your lawn's overall health. I do apologize for the confusion."
"[member name removed], I think you may have us confused with another company. We do not have a snow removal service. We provide services such as fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, perimeter pest control, mole control, surface insect control, etc."
