They were very prompt, they did the job very fast, and they came in very close to the prework estimate. The price was fair, and they did a pretty good job. The new pipes that they put, came so far down in the room, that I had to get  a handyman to come and hide it. The pipe was 2 inches below the ceiling. The work was professional, and they were very courteous. I had used them before, and I would use them again.

They are very responsive and quick. They have always done a really great job and the price is fair. We've never had any trouble with services.

I called him on a Sunday afternoon he was there in less than an hour. He left to get a part and came back. He finished the job in about two hours and had us back up an running in no time. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. He will be doing my plumbing from now on.

He was professional, kept me updated on what he was doing and cleaned up carefully when he was finished. After looking at the items that I had requested an estimate on, he was able to fix one while he was there, told me what part to buy for another one and gave a reasonable estimate on finishing up the third project -- and it was all covered under the service call one hour fee! I called at approximately 11:00 am, and the job was completed before 3:00 pm. Very pleased, and will definitely have them complete the project that he gave me the estimate for.

I was upset that they charged a $25. service fee each time they came to the house. This was not discussed prior to their arrival. Secondly, they recommended one toilet and within nine months we had a failure of that toilet and called in another company. We did not want to pay another $25 each time Lewis showed up. The second plumbing company - an A rated Angie's List company - said that the bolts one the toilet were loose and could have damaged the o rings (?) and that this plumber had never seen such a leak on a toilet. The plumber could not believe that the toilet was less than one year old. We had to pay the second company $210 to fix the work of Lewis Plumbing, but we were not going to call Lewis back after the tacked on $25 travel fee. We cannot recommend Lewis. We tried to go with the independent and it did not work out for us.

After the initial visit, Lewis told us that they would have to return since the snaking did not solve the plumbing issue. We never heard from them and I had to call again to see when they planned on returning. Our work order was misplaced and they had forgotten us. One aspect I did not realize was Lewis charged $25 as a travel fee each time they came to our house. You may want to clarify this before you hire them. The employees were neat and showed up at the appointed time.

This is an updated review three years later. I do have to note that I have since discovered that Lewis plumbing did not have the equipment needed to properly clear the lines, which was temporarily accomplished quickly by a company with a high pressure jet system. Ultimately, I had to replace the footers. This should have been clear from the opening, and I feel now that I paid for unnecessary service and will likely not use this company again as a result. I would have preferred that Mr. Lewis just acknowledge that he could not do the job, and I am disappointed both the time lost and money spent on this problem.

It went fine. He showed up on time, sawed off what was left of the old faucet (I had tried to get it off myself), and installed the new one I supplied. Had to go out for parts, came back and finished up. Cleaned up after the job.

The work took about 6-8 hours in total, and the work was done efficiently and cleanly, which was most important to me so that we did not interfere too much with the day to day life of the homeowner. The best part was the consistent check-ins by phone that Dean and the staff provided, because at the time we were on vacation in another state.

The first day they showed up and jack hammered the concrete. I was afraid of the dusty mess this would make. They cleaned up every step of the way and hauled waste out of the egress window so as not to track a mess through the house. They had to fit our small job in between the other jobs in their schedule. There were some half days and times that they were called away for emergencies. We were aware of this from the beginning. They also had to take a break while we framed the bathroom and put in the ceiling. Overall, they spent about 4 days total working on our job over a course of about two weeks. They did a great job.

We have used Lewis Plumbing and Home Repair for all our plumbing needs for at least 5 years. We have been very impressed with the quality of the work and the price is reasonable. They have even come out for emergency work on Sunday.
