"Thank you for your military service. We appreciate you for taking the time to share your experience at the house formerly owned by your uncle, [Member Name Removed] We take your concerns seriously and strive to provide excellent service. I spoke with [Member Name Removed] on 7/9/20, after our conversation earlier that day. He advised that he was very satisfied with our service and the heat pump and oil furnace worked successfully. Regarding the invoices: On 12/17/19, we checked the heat pump in heat mode and found the unit functioning in normal operation at that time, but the oil furnace needed repairs. As shown on the invoices, we replaced the oil burner nozzle, nozzle line filter, contactor for the oil furnace and a Honeywell thermostat. On 1/20/20, [Member Name Removed] advised that the oil furnace was not coming on. We returned and replaced the ignition transformer and primary control. Upon these repairs, the oil furnace was running in normal operation. We did not perform any repairs on the heat pump during either of these services. On 7/8/20, you notified us that the heat pump was frozen over in cooling mode. We advised to turn the unit off and run the fan only. We scheduled a service for 7/10/20. This was a new issue with the heat pump. The expectation that there would be no cost for the repair is unfounded. This was a new issue while the heat pump was in cooling mode. This is an older system and will need repairs to maintain proper functioning. We did not discuss replacement for the heat pump with your uncle, as it was working in normal operation when it was serviced 8 months ago. Again, as the invoices show, we repaired the oil furnace during the prior visits, not the heat pump. We value all of our customers and, as stated above, [Member Name Removed] the owner of the home at the time of service was extremely satisfied with our performance and the performance of the equipment we serviced. Thank you for your feedback. Sincerely, John Boyd"

"I stated on your invoice that there was a leak and that the system needed to be leak checked and that you enclosed the heat pump out side making it impossible to access. I called you back but you never returned my call. I also advised you 12 years ago when room addition was done that system needed to be serviced every year. We sent you post cards twice a year to recommend service. Sorry you had trouble but your system needs to be serviced."
