Gutter Doctor

Called Bill & he stopped by & gave me his estimate. My 37 feet gutter wasn’t too small a job for him. Bill squeezed our install in the following week. He showed up with a helper, made the gutter, installed it & was completed in an hour ! It looks great, THANKS !!

The owner and an assistant came out in the morning and removed all of my old aluminum gutters. They plugged the seamless gutter machine into my household power, and crafted the new gutters on the spot (if you haven't seen this done before, it's pretty fascinating - they start with a huge spool of flat painted aluminum, and the machine folds and extrudes it as a gutter to any length that they need). My house had some construction issues from the 1960's where there were no fascia boards, so the installers did as good as they could with attaching to the rafter tails. The gutter guards are a mesh that fit under the shingles and screw to the gutters. After the first rain, I noticed some dripping in one of the corners where two gutters came together. I emailed a video to the owner, and he promptly came out and fixed the problem.

nothing special about this job, except that we needed Bill to remove the existing gutters so that the house painting could be done before he installed the new gutters. Bill cheerfully came by to do so, and then returned after the painters had finished painting the affected areas. Others might have charged more, but Bill obliged without a whimper. I changed the position of several downspouts after Bill had done his original scope of work and made his material order, but he easily made the changes and it looks and works great. Happy to business with the Gutter Doctor!

Great, I called the owner who came out the next day, took measurements ( I chose the color). The following day he gave me the proposal, I gave him a deposit, two days later the job was completed. I have waited for over 2 years for an estimate from other contractors in the area ( well known too ), one never got back with me after numerous calls and the second only sent a proposal making excuses each time I phoned. My situation was very serious since we suffered  ice damage during the winter which led to water entering an inside wall. The Gutter Doctor could not understand why we were ignored and sympathized completely!

Professional job. Showed up on time. Removed all gutters and disposed of them. Left extra gutter for me in case I need it at a later date for a tricky downspout. New gutters look great!!

There are few things more satisfying than doing business with an owner/provider who takes pride in his work and cares about quality. Bill Prentiss, owner of the Gutter Doctor qualifies on all counts. Personable, punctual, and patient with customer questions, he is top notch.
Especially appreciated his attention to detail... such as using all stainless steel screws and hardware rather than the generic stuff that came with the gutter mounts and covers.
The gutter biz seems overflowing with franchises and over-hyped products. I felt Bill was honest and straight about his work and products.
Our job took the better part of a day. Bill arrived on time with his assistant and well organized (and clean) truck. The work was in-obtrusive to those at home and cleaned up and finished on time.

Gutter Doctor was recommended by my roofer. The guy was excellent. He is a one man show. He came out at the same time as the roofer. It was a joint project with the roofing. Once the roofer fixed the roof, the gutters had to be taken out and rerouted to run the water in different directions. The guy was professional. He was on time. He did quality work. He was thorough. He did everything you had hoped somebody would do at a reasonable price.
