About us

Grounds Services, Inc. has been servicing Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for over 15 years. We started out by mowing lawns, laying mulch and even digging holes to build a strong ethical, honest foundation for G.S.I. The work was not always easy but was rewarded with loyal customers who would refer their friends and family. In time, Grounds Services focused on lawn fertilization, moved away from the mowing, mulching and digging. Within the past few years, we have added chemical tree and shrub care to our services, presenting our customers and clients with a variety of answers for their lawn care problems. Grounds Services, Inc. offers free estimates & *Service Calls (*for active customers).

Failed miserably. GSI failed to kill the bentgrass and failed to plant grass seed in industry-standard acceptable weather conditions - ie the middle of October(Midwest) when it is commonly known fact that grass seed should not be planted after mid-Sept. All the seeds died of winter kill(froze). Failed three times to get any grass seed to grow. How they could manage that is beyond me. See photos that do not lie below. I ended up paying over $3,000 for material and got grass to grow within 2-4 weeks. I would avoid having GSI perform any lawn services. "F"

Went great!  The grass is green, no weeds, and no insects/grubs.

They show up and do their job, leave an invoice (explaining treatment) at the door, clean off the driveway and sidewalk, and post a note on the lawn that insecticide/fertilizer has been applied.

I have hired GSE for the last two years, no problems, great service.
