Felt it was pricey, but unfortunately all auto mechanic services seem to gauge their customers.

"Discovered this review only recently and felt the need to respond. Thank you for input. We use review info to adapt and amend our future business strategies. Checked your history with us , you have been in numerous times in the past few years, presumably satisfied, as is our intent. Just to make sure you understand regarding the caliper replacement repair job also included both new caliper hoses and a brake rotor replacement. Also performed a no charge courtesy fix on a rear door issue. With regard to comment on repair shops gauging customers, we most certainly don't base our estimates on what we think a customer can afford or is willing to pay. Almost all quality shops (including Schultz') utilize standardized software to generate their estimates. I felt the need to respond, albeit late, in hopes that you reconsider and return to visit us when a need arises.We are a locally owned, family run business for 66 years and our success depends on customer satisfaction. I had no idea where to go because the condition of my car was very puzzling, so I consulted Angie's List and chose Schultz Service Center. word of mouth was good on them and decided to give it a try. I called and Schultz said to bring it right over and he'll get to it. I had the car towed and brought in at 9 AM, and he was puzzled by the symptoms and never saw this before. An hour after i dropped it off, he found the problem and we discussed other items I was concerned about and I had some other work done as a preventative because the car was at 102,000 miles and never had anything replaced or tuned up or even a new battery. We discussed what was going to be done and he had prices immediately and I approved all work. He had the car ready by 4 PM. Very professional. Schultz
really knows what he's doing. Very personable and was willing to talk about the car with me. I will be going back to do any other car service there with both of my vehicles from now on. They do any mechanical service and less than a dealer and have very experienced mechanics. Schultz works on the cars too. I needed some interior work done on an older car and he had a recommended business for me to go to also. I highly recommend Schultz Service Center for any car service.
