The 2 plumbers arrived at 8:30 and worked until 4:15. They explained everything they were doing and they did every job to perfection. They were neat which was no easy feat after tearing the bathroom vanity away from the wall and taking the toilet apart. When they left, everything was clean and neat and back together again...and everything was working. We had another estimate for work, but Moody Plumbing was the fairest and the most honest about needed work and how to go about it. We liked the fact that they could figure out solutions to problems like the sump pump.

I was out of town but asked Moody Plumbing come out to repair a leaky 2" PVC union on my pool pump recirculation system. They could not figure out how to replace it. So they cut the union out and temporarily installed a rubber sleeve secured by band clamps as a "patch". They then proceeded to charge us $595.00 on the spot! My wife was home and knows nothing about plumbing so she paid them. When I got home and saw what they did and what they charged I was furious. After leaving a message about wanting to discuss they quality of the work and the charges, they called me back on a Monday. The office person said Mr. Moody authorized only invoicing me $150.00. I was ok with that and told her to tell Moody I appreciated it. Then Moody simply refunded $150. Not what I was told and there was NO misinterpretation on my part. When we followed up, they denied saying the total invoice would be $150, but instead said they would refund $150. So, now I have paid $450 for a botched plumbing job that still needs properly repaired and when they said they would make it right they reneged. Folks, I am not a stranger to plumbing and frankly I could have done what they did for $20 and 30-45 mins of my time. Yep that pic I posted originally cost me $595 and was reduced to $450. Shameful. Buyer Beware with this outfit! You now know the facts of my experience. If you need a plumber... look elsewhere.. you will be glad you did. David S.

David of Moody Plumbing was sent by 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty to unclog sewage drain and clog in laundry room. David told me he was 99 percent sure it was a root clog before he snaked the drain and quoted a price of $185 first half hour then $85 per hour for him and $60 per hour for his assistant and it might take all day..all of this before David even snaked the drain. I told David  to go ahead and fix the other clog in the laundry room while I check my budget..he said that wasn't on the work order.  I told David  I needed to make a call..he said "To Who"(very authoritive)  I said for advice but I called Warranty company who contacted his office to let the know the laundry room was a part of the work order.  When David found out, he then became upset and started talking loud about its an hourly job and this is wasting his time and pushing me to pay the 75$ deductible right away before he starts the work.  I paid..He then ran the snake thru the sewage line and there were no roots as he was 99% sure of earlier.

David then left his assistant inside my basement and went out to his truck and called the warranty company and LIED about the laundry room situation and they decline the work based on what he said. He left abruptly saying "don't call his company again". \

I think he called the warranty company spitefully and LIED because I went behind his back and called the warranty company about the laundry room.  I called the warranty company after David from Moody Plumbing left and emailed the photos of laundry room situation and they will send another plumber.

I will NEVER use this company again.  David was rude, pushy, condescending, dismissive and unprofessional and LIED to the warranty company. I had a very bad experience. I do believe this is a perfect example of a contractor taking advantage of a lone female who is SUPPOSED to have no knowledge and accept anything he says with no questions.   DONT CALL THEM LADIES. Called my home warranty company because we had water all over our counters in the kitchen and in the basement underneath the kitchen sink. We didn't know where the water was coming from. The warranty company sent Moody out. Two men showed up fairly quickly. They looked at my kitchen counters, underneath the sink and said it was probably a flashing issue with the roof. They looked in my third floor attic and said there was moisture and it was a flashing issue. Told me they had to tear into the kitchen walls to fix the issue and I didn't allow them to do it because there was no moisture on the walls. Left without fixing the problem and got their $100 we're required to pay under the warranty. Had the same issues a few days later but also had water in the kitchen sink. The sewer had been backing up through our kitchen sink and ruined our kitchen the second time it happened after Moody left. Called the warranty company and asked for a different plumber but moody was their only one. Ended up paying another company outside of the warranty to fix the issue and clear the drain. Had to get our whole kitchen redone due to mold. If the issue had been fixed the first time, we could've avoided this. Got my $100 back from the warranty company but had to spend thousands on the kitchen afterwards

Initially, the plumbers discovered there wasn't much room for the back-up to fit into the area of the sump pump.  They left and reported the problem to their boss.  he phoned us to discuss the problem and to let us know he was working on it.  Then, he called with a solution which he himself would implement.  He did this a few days later and it has worked fine.

They were fine. They showed up when they said they would and they completed it on time. All plumbers are criminals when it comes to price. The price was inline with other plumbers. The cleanup after was fine.

You requested that it was tall enough to put a pot underneath. He didn’t get the right size faucet and I’m not happy. Asked specifically and he didn’t do what was requested. He told me to contact the maker of the faucet which didn’t make any sense to me. I would not recommend him.
