Animal Rescues/Shelters
I became aware of Heather Merritt and the Birds In Flight Sanctuary through their website. My husband and I then met Heather and her family in person when dropping off our donation. Heather and her volunteer staff are awesome with the way they care for the injured wildlife. We attended the Pet Expo at Eastwood Mall recently where they were sharing about the work at BIFS. We also went to a fund raiser at WineStyles in the Howland Plaza. We have called them many times for assistance and they are always ready and willing to help us. If you are looking for a local animal rescue organization to donate to, this is a very worthwhile cause.
