He had good attention to detail. He worked quickly. They were very professional and answered my phone calls and texts quickly.

Fantastic. Their scheduling was very accommodating and when a couple of additional tasks came up, they tackled it with ease. Hard working and honest, up-front company.

Great. It took them 3 days to replace the wood with ATech (a plastic product that looks like wood) and just a few hours to replace the siding. I would definitely use them again. They did a very professional job.

Well, we undertook a MASSIVE first floor remodeling project. It encompassed about 1600 square feet in total. We basically gutted the entire first floor (dinning room, living room, kitchen, office, bathroom, great room, laundry room and breakfast room) and updated EVERYTHING. Our house was about 12 years old and survived two boys (now 5 and 8), their toys, all of our relatives and all of our family parties...but was in a desperate need of updating. In addition, we wanted to remove 2 walls and relocate a third (load bearing). We got 3 quotes on the job. One quote was close to $60k (they were just general contractors who were going to sub everything out and then make an additional 20% on the costs), the second company would only give us a quote if they first signed us up for a $1500 CAD drawing expense (we we felt was a big waste). The second company had about 4-5 handymen on the payroll that they were going to use for the job. The third company (Sir Lewis Construction) had 2-3 guys (all family) that were going to take on several parts of the project (electrical, plumbing, tile work, flooring...etc). Sir lewis's LABOR cost was about what we were expecting before the bidding process. They came with a detailed proposal, were not scared of the load bearing wall or the fact that they were going to have to move plumbing/electrical..etc and sat down with us for quite a while going over the scope of the project. We had some experience with remodeling and felt that Kevin (the owner) was being very honest with us regarding pricing and what he thought was going to need to get done. We ended up signing up. I must say, the unlike most re-modelers, Kevin and Doug were here almost every day (when they couldn't come, we got a call/text saying why they couldn't make it) and I felt like they were as detailed about the work they were doing as I was. We are really picky and SirLewis matched our picky-ness! I loved it! Ok...so, we had ALL of this started in 2010 and the project finally finished in Feb of 2011 and while we are happy that we are done, we are sad to see Kevin and Doug go. We have really become great friends with them and that is saying A LOT! I would highly recommend them for any remodeling project.
