No money had changed hands, but I had to skip 2 days of work to meet him at the house and he wouldn't show. He missed 4 appointments in total, and then i decided to just let it go and not use him. After I told him i didn't want to do business with him since he couldn't show up, he got very angry and yelled at me screaming about how reputable he is A reputable company/ person would have shown up for the job. I wouldn't use him.
Description of Work: I had hired him to refinish hardwood floors.

THE MEMBER'S COMMENTS CONTAIN 5 OUTRIGHT FALSE STATEMENTS. AS A RESULT, MY COMPANY IS CURRENTLY PROCESSING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HIM. AS FOR THE TRUTH, HE DID NOT SKIP ANY DAYS OF WORK TO MEET US. WE WAITED FOR HIS CALL UPON HIS ARRIVAL HOME FROM WORK, WHICH WAS RECEIVED AT 9:50 A.M. WE WERE NOT SCHEDULED TO BE AT HIS HOUSE. THE AGREEMENT WAS THAT HE WOULD CALL US AFTER HIS 110 MILE DRIVE HOME FROM WORK. WE WERE READY TO GO, BUT HE REFUSED SERVICE. HE NEVER WAITED FOR US FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES, IT SIMPLY NEVER HAPPENED. SOMEWHERE HIS MEMORY AND HIS LOGIC BECAME CONFUSED. I HAVE BUILT THIS COMPANY MYSELF BY PROVIDING GREAT WORK AND GREAT SERVICE TO MY CUSTOMERS. I AM A MEMBER OF THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WITH AN EXCELLENT RATING. IT IS A SHAME THAT A BBB MEMBER LIKE MYSELF, WITHOUT EVER A COMPLAINT, HAS TO ENDURE THESE LIES. I URGE ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO FOLLOW UP ON REFERENCES AND BBB RATINGS. ANY COMMENTS OR CONCERNS REGARDING THIS RATING CALL ME DIRECT. -DAN MCCARTNEY
