TH Custom Hardwood did a fantastic job installing hardwood flooring in my house.  The crew was punctual, professional, courteous, and was very mindful of keeping the house clean as they went.
Their work included removal and disposal of existing flooring in addition to the installation work.  The crews took the extra time to curtain off the living room, dining room, stairway, and other areas of the house during the demo to keep the dust down.  The crews also cleaned up as they went to ensure debris was not tracked.
 Installation went smooth.  The crew took their time to lay the floor out, go over installation with me, ensure they understood my expectations of the final product, and worked in a very clean and orderly fashion.  One minor concern arose during installation and the crew was immediately responsive.  The finished results exceeded my expectations.

Perfect! Consulted all the way through. No surprises. Feel so lucky to have found them.

The owner came out and took some measurements and gave me a quote breakdown on the spot. I called them back a couple days later and we were able to get them to come out very quickly.
They did a great job on our floors and got very close to where the carpet met the room without staining the carpet. They also did a good job getting right up to the toe boards with minimal damage to them from the sander. If I could do it over again I would have removed and then replaced all the base boards after they finished so the edges would have looked cleaner.
When it came time to choose a stain he rubbed some samples on the sanded wood for us to choose from. I didn't like what they had so they happily went down the street to home depot and bought a couple more samples for us to choose from and then went back out to Home Depot to pick up the rest of the stain.
They sectioned off the area that was being done so that dust wouldn't drift throughout the house. They also taped up the air vents so that the dust wouldn't drift throughout the house. We hadn't moved into the house yet so dust wasn't an issue for us, not that it was much of a problem. We just needed to do a quick wipe down of the walls after they were done. They spent a full day here and then the next 2 mornings putting additional coats on it. The service was extremely professional and quick and we get compliments on our floors all the time. Would definitely use them again.

TH Custom Hardwood did a great job! The floors in our 1925 home are beautiful once again. Attention was paid to special details - small areas that could have easily been overlooked. The owner came out prior to the work, and went over everything and presented stain samples. The men that did the actual work were courteous and capable. They left our home neat and clean.

The job went very well and was completed on schedule.

I decided to update my recently acquired 60 year old house by having the hardwood floors refinished on the first floor. The floors have always been covered by wall to wall carpeting--so--I was not sure what was underneath!! Tim and his crew arrived Tuesday morning and proceeded to remove the furniture from the 2 bedrooms and some pieces left in the living room. This alone was quite a job--but, it went smoothly. The rest of the day was spent ripping up the old carpeting and removing it from the house. The next day was spent sanding the floors and applying the first coat. The kitchen was taped off with plastic so as not to make a mess. On Thursday the final coats were applied and finished by end of the day. Tim and his crew cleaned up everything and also came back on Monday to put the furniture back in its place and to take out the garbage from the job. I was amazed how nice the floors look!! The house definitely looks updated. Tim and his crew were very polite, helpful, and professional. I would definitely use their services again!!!

Overall the work went just as described and expected.

Our hardwood floors were sanded, (98% dust free), a base coat was applied, the floors were sanded again and the final 3 coats of finish were applied. The odor of the stain was minimal. The product used was water-based and friendly to the environment and to both the work crew and us.

On the third day, a crew arrived at the agreed time and moved some of the heavy pieces of furniture back in place. We were unable to do the lifting due to our age and health issues.

There were no surprise charges at the end and all proceeded as agreed. A great company!

The team from TH Hardwood spent a whole day with 4 guys working at sanding and reconditioning the floor, scraping paint from around the edges, filling holes and repairing the damage. I have seldom seen 4 guys work so hard, and they were all professional and polite. They connected all of their tools to a dust extractor machine and sealed off the room form other areas of the hose with plastic sheeting to contain the disruption. They returned next day and stained and applied the finish coats, we were able to walk on the floor just a few hours later, and replace furniture the next day. The result was outstanding, it exceeded my expectations by 100%. The finish is smooth and even, no way does it look like a 70 year old floor. We were amazed and delighted. There was some dust, but very little and easily taken care of. We could walk in the room while the guys were sanding and the air was clear, the extraction machine took care of almost all the dust. We were offered a choice of 3 grades of finish, and we chose the most durable, a 2-pack water based finish that dries and cures very quickly with almost no smell. Altogether 350sq ft of flooring and 11 stair treads were refinished on a floor that had taken a beating from a previous attempt to refinish by an amateur. Looking at the floor before they started I wasn't even sure it could be saved. I feel that I have received great value for money for the $1700 total cost. It's like new, a beautiful result.
