My experience with Rocco and crew was wonderful, start to finish. We had a drainage issue with our new (5 year old) house, and learned our drain tile was holding water. Rocco came to our property twice to inspect before repairs, and talked through his concerns with us, going out of his way to call and touch base to review his plan for excavation and explaining his processes. His crew was INCREDIBLY hard working, professional, and had great attention to detail. Not only were they courteous on site, but they maintained my yard and cleaned up beautifully every day. Rocco also served as communication between us and our builder, which could, at times, be a bit tense, given the problems we encountered. The best part of working with Oliveri & Sons is that I knew, from start-to-finish, that Rocco was honest and open with me. There was no sales pitch, there was no cutting corners. We trusted the insight and advice from both him and his son Mark. They're upstanding guys-- the whole crew is. We'd hire again if ever needed (but hopefully they aren't needed!)

Have had to deal with multiple contractors between fixing up the house we just sold and the purchase of our new previously waterproofed house that turned out to have basement leaking issues. I have been talked down to and overcharged by the majority of the contractors because I am a woman. This includes the other company who did the waterproofing and refused to re-evaluate their warrantied work even after 5 conversations with the owner. I have to say it sure was a nice change to work with Rocco Olivieri! He wanted to help find and fix the problem. He actually listened to me when I told him what the problem was. He figured out the cause, then came up with a great cost effective solution. They are super busy and I see why their company is in such high demand!

Once the estimate was done at my house this company showed up to my house without notice. The owner told me he would try and fit my house into to their schedule in the next couple of weeks. I got a call 3 days later from them that they were working on my house, and that the job started that very day. I had no time to prepare. Also, they needed parts picked up for the job I actually went and got them myself which was a 20 minute drive on a Saturday morning while the crew continued to work at my house. The actual job from start to finish took about 3 days, the guys worked hard and long hours I will give them that and everyone was very polite. These guys do work their butts off and work long days. My main complaint and dissatisfaction is the fact that I called the owner 2 weeks after the job was complete to tell him I had a puddle of water after a rain storm. Instead of buying the right cap to fit the 4th drain that needed capped they just cemented over it. He came to look right away and said he would be back in the next week to fix it / tear up the cement, and replace it with the right size cap. Well, after a week of phone tag no one has come to fix it. I made a final call another week later, they told me they would call me the next day on a Friday to confirm a time to come out that Saturday to fix it. It is now Monday and no call received. The owner even said he was writing it in his schedule, and had plain forgotten the week before about my house.... well they forgot again.

They came out, found the problem and fixed it. He was able to work around our pavers and knew exactly what to do. I was impressed with his knowledge and I thought the price would have been twice of what he charged. He was easy to talk to, worked with me on price, created a great atmosphere, and I have nothing but good things to say about him.

They did a nice job. Satisfied. They were within a few dollars of everyone else. They were good. There were six workers. Over a week to complete, and they left it pretty clean.

Rocco, his son and their crew did a great job. They were professional, neat, punctual and thorough. The work the performed was exceptional. My wife and I immediately noticed a difference in our basement (within a few days). They did exactly what they said they were going to do and did try to nickel and dime me when they uncovered issues they weren't aware of initially. I highly recommend their services if you need waterproofing.

The only reason we gave Rocco the job was because he could do both jobs for one price which seemed like a good deal. He suggested an alternative way to replace the sanitary kitchen drain line in the basement which would save a lot of expense.  I found him because he was doing a similar job two houses away from our house.  When he gave me the quote on both jobs we decided to go with him.  Once he finished the waterproofing he promised to setup a date for the drain line. Mark his son also stopped to make sure we were happy. I told him his dad still needed to replace the kitchen drain line and I took him downstairs to show him what needed to be done. He promised he would remind his dad to get the job done.  Then out of no where he appears across the street at a house to do a larger job instead of finishing  my job that I contracted him for.  After that he just disappeared. First few phone calls he answered with excuses and I tried to be understanding. Then last Thursday night 9/10/15 he answered our call and said he would either be out the next day or would call to arrange to do the job on Sat the 12th.  Have not heard from him since and he will not answer our calls anymore. Meanwhile I have a kitchen sanitary drain line that is about 80% broken and clogged.  We cannot run our dishwasher because it overflows onto the kitchen floor. I made the mistake of giving him a sizeable partial payment for the work he had done and now the remainder is to small to interest him. Should never have paid this guy until he had completed the whole job...

We called Rocco for an estimate and he came the same day. When we had it done he was able to come the next day which was important when your sewer pipe is clogged up. He brought everything needed and had me come out to view the work. They were done in a few hours and everything was cleaned up. I couldn't be more happy with the professional way things were done and how quickly they could do it.

I purchased a big deal with this provider, and he came out to look at the job. It was a relatively simple fix, and he told me that he would come back later that afternoon to do the work. He didn't come back, so I called him after a couple of days and he told me that he would come by the following week. The next week, I called him, and he told me he that he would be by that day, but he never showed up.

It went very well.  They came out quickly for an estimate, and once the weather was workable they took two days to complete the job.  Everything that was moved was put back in its proper place, for example the hydrangea bush, fence, steps, and Air-conditioner.  They did the job right: used stone not dirt, proper plumbing, did all the proper inspections with the city, called for wiring underground, insulation, and proper sealant on the wall.  Once I chose this company, they did all the work.  They didn't cut any corners.

Our area has had several strong rains in the last few years that have overwhelmed our downspouts.  Water has
been leaking into the basement.  Prior attempts to fix the problem have not stopped the water from entering, and Olivieri was
called on 8/4 to give us an opinion on solving the problem and an estimate for doing the repair.  Rocco Olivieri met with us the same day he was called, and began the repair work one day after we authorized it.  He and his crew worked through several difficult problems caused by the overbuilt construction of our house.  It was constructed in 1965 and previous owners had added thick concrete reinforced with steel rebar next to the foundation.   This took significant time and effort to remove.   Olivieri and crew completed the work we initially agreed upon, but it would not have solved the underlying drainage problem.  Significant additional work - nearly double the original distance -  was done excavating the foundation until good drainage tile could be connected to the new footer tile.  Even though the job was larger and tougher than estimated, it was completed in 4 working days and beat two days of heavy rain that followed.  As we agreed when the additional work was authorized, the cost for the repairs increased also.  At
all times during the repair, Rocco and his crew were helpful, answered our questions, and asked our opinions on options.
So far, the basement is dry and cracks in the block walls have closed from the reduced pressure on the outside.  We are very pleased with the work, and we are now ready to begin additional repair projects in the basement.

We were very happy with the work Rocco and Son did.  Would highly recommend this company. They dug up around three sides of our basement, hauled away the dirt, patched up the cracks in the wall, applied thoroseal, then let it dry overnight and tarred the walls the following morning.   They place new plastic footer drain pipes, 3 cleanouts, reconnected the downspouts and finished it off by filling it in with stone (for better drainage) and topsoil.  All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction.

Rocco, Mark and crew know their stuff. They not only waterproofed, but also replaced a portion of the patio that was removed to waterproof, and re-cemented fence posts that had to be removed for their access.  With experience passed down from Rocco's father, to Rocco, and now to Mark, O&S is a great choice. They were also quick (3 days) and left the yard in nearly the condition it was before they left (boards were laid down, grass was sprayed to help it pop back up, house was sprayed from dust, plants and bushes were put back, garden rocks were put back, topsoil was laid down in gardens, etc.).  One week later, my basement has not yet had issues.

He gave us a guarantee for 20 years. But now for the last two years we get seepage and leaks in the basement. We call him and he says he will come out and he never does. When ever we get bad rains there is leaks in the basement.

Rocco, his son Mark and co-worker John are really great.  Hard working and particular on how the job needs to be done.  They explain everything in detail and what needs to be done and why.  We have a concrete block basement and was cracking in many places.  The concrete floor also has many cracks.  We had no water coming in, yet.  There was effervescence all along both walls and a lot of dampness.  With the job Olivieri and Son would do, Rocco said I should have no more problems.  Eventually the weight of the ground would press more and more against my house and cause more cracking and water to eventually come in and worse.  Also with a better drainage, water would go out through the drains and not go under the house and just sit the way it was doing.  Rocco knows his stuff.  He looked at the interior of our basement and could tell us quite a bit about how it was built, and how to take care of the cracks on the inside.  After 3-4 month, giving the blocks time to dry out we could go ahead and paint the walls or finish the basement and not worry again.
Rocco, Mark and John are very professional, and want to do the job right.  I would and have recommended them to friends and neighbors for when they need someone to waterproof the basements also.  There were issues with weather and they took care to keep the yard protected from running their machinery through the yard.  Use them, they did it right.  I wanted the job done right the first time, not a band aid like the inside jobs are.

Two walls were dug down to the footer. Drain tile was 3/4 plugged. New drain tile and downspouts were installed. Walls were pressure washed, water plugged, and tarred. Back filled with stone to grade with 18 in of topsoil. Very happy.
