We are active members of two major organizations in the tree care industry, The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) including the Ohio Chapter and the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

No problems other than communication of arrival time. I was told the day before the crew would arrive in the morning. I had to call the office when they didn't arrive and was told their schedule changed and they'd arrive in the afternoon.

Smooth as silk. They had it all cut & removed in 5 hours. They also raked up all branched and used a leaf blower to get the area extra clean.

I was very impressed with Brent's willingness to spend time with me at the nursery picking out trees that would work for us. His crew was very professional; the old trees were cut down and the new ones installed promptly and with a minimum of damage to our lawn. I will be calling Dring again if we decide to plant additional trees in the future.

First time we had these 35 year old trees trimmed. The Dring crew of 3 worked steadily for 3 hours removing dead branches, shaping and thinning the trees. They removed quite a few branches but the trees looked very even when they were done. They did a very thorough cleanup. This company was recommended to us because they climb without spikes.

The guys were great. Showed up with crane and bucket truck and got right to work. It took about 4 hours and they had both my trees down and cleaned up. These were huge oak trees. About 130 foot tall each. They put plywood down where the truck was, and cleaned everything up when they were done. I immediately knew that these guys knew what they were doing. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone. Their price is right and they perform a top notch service. Look no further, Dring is the only tree company to use.

After they ground the tree they raked up every single branch, I was really impressed with how cleanly they were. I would have them out again if I need to.

"Rescheduling happens upon occasion and proper notice is always given of schedule dates. [Member name removed]' trees were pruned properly by an ISA Certified Arborist #OH-0594. If she was unhappy with our service,notifying us upon completion would have been a more effective way to address the issue and would have given both parties a chance to assess the situation. Posting a negative review on Angie's List a year later, is ineffective for both the client and company. In addition, Dring Family Tree gave [Member name removed] additional services at no charge and Ms. [Member name removed] would not pay her invoice for over 7 months. Please proceed cautiously when choosing her as a client."

Came out first to assess, then emailed me a quote the next day. Did have a little hard time trying to contact them by phone the 2nd time, to agree with their offer. But then sent Angie's List email & then we had no problem communicating. All went according to plan! Arrived promptly on day they said they would. Everything was very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Dring!!

Over the years this company has done about $8000 of tree work for me. They were always very nice and did good work. However, I will not do any further business with them.
I had a large oak tree fall on my property, so I hired them to remove it. I asked them to leave one large section of the tree in-tact, because I planned to have it cut into a slab. I thought it would be nice to use wood from my property to build a bar with. Their arborist/crew leader (Brent Dring) said they could cut the slab for me so I didn't need to hire a separate company. They did the tree removal work, and took a large section to cut the slab with. I paid for the work, and Brent said they would return with the wood after a few months (once their busy season came to a close).
I waited for many months, and then tried to follow up by phone and email. Occasionally I would get a message from Brent saying that he was going to bring the wood back, but it's been two years now and nothing has happened. I decided to accept the loss and just post this feedback.

Milling wood is not a service we offer, nor was he given an estimate or invoiced for this. This review has nothing to do with the services Dring Family Tree advertises on Angie's List. I had asked for the tree to be taken down but left. I would do the clean up. These guys took down the tree, blew all the clippings into a pile and left minimal mess. I would highly recommend them.

These guys are pro's! There was a four man crew who showed up with a crane, bucket truck, and chipper right at 9am as discussed.
They protected the lawn using plywood to get the chipper and dump truck near the felled trees. Since the trees were all in my backyard there was no way to get equipment back there. As a result the Dring team had to climb three of the trees, top them, then lower down each cut section by hand using ropes, it was like watching acrobats! Altogether they fell four very large Red Oaks, these Oaks ranged from 60'-90' and one with diameter of 40" was very near the rear of my house and deck. The fourth tree they were able to crane over the house. They performed a thorough clean up and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. They also bucked the tree rounds to 18" for me as requested. The entire job was (aside from the stump grinding) was complete by 4pm. Brent Dring came back out within a week to grind the four large stumps as well as 24 other small stumps in an area of the woods that i had previously cleared.
Overall this crew did an excellent job, they were on time, professional, were a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable with their trade. I highly recommend Dring Family Tree!
