Work was performed on the date promised after several reschedulings due to weather. Our old garage floor had a drain at the center, and A New Deal was unable to determine how to install a new one after having dug out the old floor and agreeing to reinstall a center drain. An alternative plan to slope the garage floor to drain onto the driveway was proposed and accepted, but I asked A New Image to please be sure that runoff on the garage floor would not drain into the stair well leading to the lower level of the house. The job looked very nice when finished. A New Deal cleaned all the concrete and patched the lawn in a professional manner. After a few weeks a crack developed in the driveway. Rain and snow runoff from the cars created large puddles in the garage as deep as 1/2 inch, which did not drain onto the driveway at all. Some ran off into the stairwell into the lower level of the house. The driveway outside of the garage floor, which I sealed per A New Image's instructions, spalled during the first winter, especially outside the garage where I squeegeed out the salty runoff from the cars. A New Image did offer to repair the garage floor with epoxy fills, but I have no confidence in their ability to repair or redo the job and I declined.
