Three contractors who have looked at the patio tell me it needs to be replaced from the ground up. The first rain after installation caused the base to wash out along one edge for about two feet. They returned to "repair" this. Mr. Bolton also returned the first year to even up a few pavers and add edge pavers. Currently, hardly any of the pavers sit evenly on the base. I recently had someone redo a four x three foot section along one edge of the lower level which had become too uneven to walk on. The owner gave me a $250.00 consolation check after the installation which was a nice, if inadequate, gesture.
