Schleppers Moving and Storage

They were recommenced to me by some other teachers. They came out and 4 members packed everything nicely and then 2 members unpacked everything for me nicely too. Everything they moved for me, it came from an small apartment to a new location. Nothing was broken at all and all my processions arrived safely.  They originally gave me a binding estimate and they told me the price was going to be based off 310 cubic feet. When they got here I noticed that the guy put down on his sheet that it was 208 cubic feet. I felt like they charged me a bit more when they shouldn’t have. I did email them about this and they said it was a mistake. I realized that I was about a $500+ overcharge. Also, when the guy came out to pick up my furniture, the lead person, he told me that at the end of all of this, I would have to give him 20% of the total of the move as a gratuity to the mover/packers. They never mentioned that to me when I first hired them when I first spoke to them. I mentioned to the company that that was a bit unfair.
