I have been happy with them. The guys explain everything. It is one of the few places that actually look at you when you are female and talk to you about what is going on with your car, and not like trying to talk over your head. They are very friendly and professional. They usually very good at getting you in the next day or so.

I last used them a couple of months a go, may be two. The service was fine. The work was done promptly. The cost was $350. I would used them again in the future.

I can make appointments quickly. The price is usually pretty reasonable. They gave me a call to let me know the car was ready.

This past spring I received a bulk mail flyer from RadAir offering a variety of auto service specials, and I noticed the Angie's List "Super Service Award" logo displayed on the flyer. Being an Angie's List member, I have an appreciation for the effort and integrity required to earn the Super Service distinction. Thus I was encouraged by the idea of finding an automotive service center that offers high quality work and can be trusted to not recommend unnecessary repairs. I then checked the RadAir website and was further impressed by their emphasis on ethics and treating customers like family. So I decided to give them a try.
Upon arrival, the person at the counter was very friendly and attentive, and I took a seat in their comfortable waiting area. While I was waiting I noticed a plaque on the wall that re-emphasized the company's commitment to integrity and trust. I sat back down and was disappointed that I had driven past this establishment almost daily for years and never thought to try them out.
A short while later, a mechanic (also very cordial) came out to tell me that my car was almost ready, but they had discovered a problem. He said there was a slight pulsation in my brakes due to warped rotors and that my front rotors and pads needed to be replaced. The additional work would cost $350. Not having noticed any issues with my brakes prior to the appointment, I declined the work, paid my bill, and left.
The following weekend I pulled the front wheels off to inspect the brakes (I am a fairly experienced mechanic), and I immediately noticed that the brake linings on the driver's side pads were worn substantially more than the passenger side pads. This is usually a symptom of a seized brake caliper, so I removed the driver's side caliper and confirmed it was indeed seized. The next day I replaced both calipers, and the brakes have worked perfectly ever since.
Had I followed the advice of RadAir, I would have spent $350 to replace rotors that did not need replaced, and I still would have a brake problem (seized caliper). As you can imagine, this was extremely disappointing -- especially considering how much RadAir promotes themselves as being proficient and trustworthy, not to mention their high rating with Angie's List.
To make matters worse, when I went to remove the oil change reminder decal in the windshield (I did not want to advertise for them), I noticed that RadAir recommended that I return for my next oil change in only 3,000 miles. This is less than half the mileage recommended by the manufacturer (7,500 miles per Toyota). Thus, if I were to trust RadAir's advice, I would be paying them to change the oil in my car 2.5 times more often than was actually needed.
In the end, my service experience at RadAir was a huge letdown. Now I am right back where I was before: Spending more free time under the car instead of with my family because I still cannot trust the local mechanic.

Tom's staff thoroughly checked all areas of my engine to determine where fluid might be leaking from -- spots on my garage floor caused me to bring the car in for a check. Their inspection didn't find any leaks, so it may have been from the last oil change I got at another garage.
The charge for their time, effort and expertise??? ZERO!!! What a wonderful surprise, and just one more reason why RadAir is so successful. They've made major repairs on my '96 Camry and have always been honest and fair in pricing, BUT this made me respect RadAir more than ever.
So glad their Parma Hts. location is so close to home.

This RadAir (6565 Pearl Road in Parma Heights) is phenomenal! We've used them for years for all of our car repairs and they are fast, honest and fair. They have helped my son with his motorcycle and charged nothing for it. They have free loaner cars. The manager is a great guy and truly listens to your issues.
This particular visit was to recheck the air conditioning after Liberty Ford in Parma Heights told us we had to pay $1,400 to replace the condenser because it was leaking due to a rock hitting it. Yes, you read that correctly, folks, $1,400!!! Not only did RadAir take it right in to give us a second opinion, but they documented everything for us so, hopefully, we could recoup the cost from Ford since this WAS covered under warranty! This is what they found for us:
1. There was NO indication of any dye being used in the condenser as Ford had claimed they used not once but twice!
2. There was NO freon in the condenser--it was bone dry.
3. There was NO indication whatsoever of any leaks after they filled it with freon and let it sit over night and ran the car and air conditioning.
All for the bargain price of $219! What a difference from $1,400, but still, we shouldn't have to pay for this and are hoping to get Ford to pay for this, as they should be.

arIt went well. They do good work but the prices seemed a little high. Some of it was my fault as I let things go but now I will definitely get things done on a timely basis as I need this car to last.

It went very well. They were able to fix my car when other mechanics couldn't and it runs great. They advised me on what needed to be fixed and what could wait. Everybody there is very courteous. You feel like you have known them for a long time, almost like they are family.

Easy to get an appointment. Dropped car off night before. Got a call early next day detailing problems and costs. After agreeing to price, car was repaired. I was called in the afternoon when it was complete and picked it up after work. All work completed in desired time frame at reasonable cost.

In truth, we've gone to RadAir Westlake (and, occasionally, Broadview Heights) for all manner of car issues. They are always priced fairly, so friendly and efficient, and they do offer free loaner cars, though we've never actually needed to use one. We always feel like we're in good hands, and no one is pushy or demanding as far as sales of other issues. Dino, at Westlake, will even let us know when we've got issues on the horizon so that we can begin to save up for those repairs in advance, and he also lets us know which is most pressing. They are really honest folks. Every time.

Awesome, as always. Dino from Radair Westllake called me to tell me my pulley needed to be replaced asap. I did hear a squeak from under the hood but really didn't think anything of it. Good thing they found it since I was making a road trip. It would have been realy bad if that thing broke when I was in another state. He also noted that I will need tires in the very near future. No pressure, always honest.. As a woman, I have had dealingswith mechanics/shops that try to scare you into buying something that isn't really needed. Never has Dino pressured me, just make suggestions, this is why I wont go anywhere else. Another thing I think is awesome is they have taken me to work or will give me a loaner till my truck is done. Also, the whole staff is very, very nice and funny (which is an added bonus) too!

I took my 98 toyota camry to the Rad-air location in Parma hts, Ohio. on 3/8/2013 the engine was running rough i figured it needed new plugs and wires and might cost a couple hundred to fix. I told the service manager i needed the car back by the next day and he said it wouldnt be a problem. He called me back about 3 hours later and said i have bad news for you and quot;when we went to bring your car in the shop to diagnose my guy stepped on the brakes and the brake line snapped in addition to this your car does need plugs and wires and we recomend cleaning the fuel injectors. the total cost would be $1200 dollarsand quot;. I needed my car the next day and that price sounded really high but it was gonna cost me to tow it out of there so i told him to just fix the brake line so it was drivable and i would fix the rest myself. he told me it would be $550 to fix the lines. I reluctantly said to fix them. after talking to several other mechanics i found out $550 was way high for 2 brakelines to the rear wheels. I called rad air back to tell them not to fix it but it was a few hours after i told him to go ahead and fix it and they had already fixed it. i talked to a lot of different mechanics before picking up the car and they said the brakelines wouldnt brake from hitting the brake peddle the only way was if it just rusted through on its own. when i went in to pick up thecar the next day i looked where my car was parked when i left it and there was no brake fluid on the ground no sign of a trail of brake fluid going to the bay door and nothing in front of the door. ithen walked across the street to autozone to ask how much the brakeline parts should cost they told me at the most $40 so i went into Rad-air and asked the service manager to see the invoice they charged me $250 for $40 lines and 3 hrs labor plus $26 for fluid and $50 to scope the engine for the initial problem i brought it in for 5times markup on parts and $90 hr labor. I said so you mean to tell me the car was fine when i brought it here as far as the brakes and when you hit the brake peddle the line just broke and he said and quot;well actually it was leaking to begin with and when they brought it around to the garage it broke the rest of the wayand quot; i saidand quot; well thats awful funny i parked right in front there and it hasnt rained there no sign of fluid where i parked,no trail of fluid to the garage and nothing by the garageand quot; then he said and quot;oh well it must have happened when they brought it in the buildingand quot; I think the guy lied to me and then way over charged me to fix what they more than likely broke......and they misdiagnosed it needed plugs and wires which if I didn't know better I would have paid them for that when in fact it was low compression #3 cylinder.....if they had run a compression test they would have known that.....basically the motor was shot........not worth fixing had I known I wouldn't have needed to pay 687 dollars for two brake lines and needs a tune up

Our braked were squeaking but they didn't charge us for the diagnostic, however we got brakes done before there and it was very competitively priced. I like their good manager because he's very friendly and definitely just not out to make money off of you and doesn't take advantage for the fact that a lot of people don't know a lot of information about their car and he does a pretty good job in explaining everything so you understand if anything needs done. He's a nice guy. They also give you cookies after you have work done there.

The labor was extensive to get at the flex joint, so it took them more work than planned to remove and weld in that section. In spite of that difficulty, Rad-air stuck to their original estimate, and finished the job quickly. The car was in their shop only one day. The manager, Dave George, was very courteous and helpful.
On the Internet, the parts themselves would have cost me almost as much as the whole job cost at Rad-air.

All promises made were kept. We had to take it back and then discovered another problem with the casing of the truck computer. Quenton and team fixed it and did not charge us. What was previously a joke of a vehicle is now an everyday ride. They are very nice there and we are lucky to have them in Akron. We have had several very good experiences there and will continue to use them as our #1 car maintenance facility.

They were very good at telling me what was needed to be done. They were very thorough when I was explaining to them the problem. A man was sent out with me to drive so he could hear what was going on with the car. They were very conscientious.
